  1. Ya' got find me and catch me first. Not too difficult though in theory as there's 2 members here who've been to my house. Although, sometimes it's not a good idea to mess with people who sell guns, ammo and body armor for a living though...Mwhahahahahaha! Graham
  2. Comparing the proportions of the upcoming 1/60 scale YF-19 with the Hasegawa 1/72 YF-19 model kit based only on the few CAD drawings so far published is I feel a little unfair. While the Hasegawa is a nicely detailed kit, and looks great when veiwed from the top, I've always felt it is far too skinny when viewed from the side, especially the leg area, when compared with the official side view lineart published in the TIAS M+ book. Graham
  3. I have a feeling that it's a random casting flaw, as the number of breakages has been statistically very small so far. Graham
  4. OK guys here's the deal. Get me a night of wild sex with either Jessica Alba, or the chick who plays Boomer in the new BSG and I'll spill the beans on the next couple of years of releases. Graham
  5. Don't forget that the Garland has an official licensed US release. Heck, even the RT.com site is selling it. This means that US stores should be able to order replacement parts from Yamato USA. Graham
  6. That was the prototype Bandai 1/100 scale non-SAP VF-2SS plastic model, which unfortunately never made it into production. It was shown in several Japanese hobby mags at the time Macross II was first released. Graham
  7. In response: - 1) I could tell ya, but then I'd have to kill ya! 2) I guess it's safe to say that this is a totally new sculpt. 3) [dirtyharry]Do you feel lucky? Well, do you punk?[/dirtyharry] Graham
  8. Yep, the front landing gear/groin/hip-joint area of the YF-19 is a major pain to design, without involving either parts removal, too short front landing gear or lots of ugly external lumps and bumps which spoil the lines of the fighter mode. Another problem area is the interface between the upper arms and shoulders and the back of the legs in fighter mode, to keep the fighter looking streamlined enough without the shoulders sitting too high up or having to remove half of the back of the leg. After many years work those geniuses at Yamato have solved all the above issues. And yes, it will be perfect transformation with no parts removal or parts swapping. The old Bandai 1/65 VF-19S/Kai had extremely bad proportions, simplified transformation and limited articulation Graham
  9. The 1/60 YF-19 is an improvement on the 1/72 YF-19 in the same way that the 1/48 VF-1 was an improvemnt over the 1/60 VF-1........only better! We are talking quantum leap here. Can't go into details yet, but it's gonna be amazing. Graham
  10. You mean Ray Bradbury, the science fiction author? Graham
  11. Heh, that's why I just sold my last mint in box 1/72 YF-19 on ebay. Graham
  12. The fact that it says 'YF-19' and not 'VF-19A', should give you a hint as to the color. C'mon, even if I knew the answer to your second question, you know I couldn't say. Graham
  13. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die. Graham
  14. Trust me, it looks a 100 times better. Graham
  15. Oh well, the cat is out of the bag at last. And to sort of answer the question above, just slightly shorter than the VF-0S. Graham
  16. I love dystopian future movies sci-fi made in the 70s, they are the best. Death Race 2000 is one of my all time favorite movies. Graham
  17. Eh.....what's the connection between BSG & Smith & Wesson? I haven't seen it! Graham
  18. Ah, Miami Vice, one of my favorite (if not the favorite) TV series. I'm eagly awaiting the release of MV season 3 DVD set. Graham
  19. Coming. Got the pics done and am about 25% done with the text. Just very busy at the moment though. It's a bad week. Graham
  20. What's the toys height in battroid's mode then? Graham
  21. *does a google on I AM LEGEND* HRM??? WHAT! *blinks* Ah! They are remaking The Last Man On Earth, but with a different name, again. No way in hell is Smith gonna be able to pull it off. Price did an awsome job the first time, but now it sounds like they are gonna make it a modern day lame 'monster movie'. 409909[/snapback] I remember several years ago, Arnold's name was mentioned as starring in a new remake. Never seen the original Vincent Price version, only the 1971 Charleton Heston remake, released as The Omega Man. Graham
  22. Thanks. The Legioss is supposed to be 10.25m long in fighter mode, so if the toy is 23.5cm long, that would make it about 1/43.5 scale(?). Graham
  23. Quick question for those in the know. Are the Toynami Alpha MPC actually 1/55 scale or not? If not, what scale are they and what's the length in CM in fighter mode? OK, that was actually several questions! Graham
  24. Planning to go see this on June 30 with a bunch of the HK MWers. Graham
