  1. Here's all the pics I have of the VF-11B's gunpod. Enjoy! Graham
  2. We have had multiples topics on the Rafaga and Tech Romancer posted over the last few years. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...2&hl=Rafaga http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...0&hl=Rafaga But nice pics anyway, at least one of them I hadn't seen before. Graham
  3. I have it. I'll get it scanned at the weekend. Graham
  4. It's not due out until end of November, which we all know means in reality sometime in December. Graham
  5. Never heard of a turrent before. Graham
  6. While a little off topic, I'd like to know where the heck was the Asuka's air wing when the SV-51's attacked in episode # 3. Seems like Roy was all by himself. Graham
  7. I'm happy with the size of the Wave SDF-1. I'm already running out of display space as it is, just with Yamato toys, so I don't want larger toys. Maximum height bewteen shelves in my display cabinet is only 13"-14", so a toy taller than a 1/48 VF-1 is a no-no for me. I already have to angle the Strike cannon on the 1/48 VF-1S Strike Valk Battroid as it is to get it to fit in my cabinet. As previously mentioned, I'm not a ship guy, so I don't really care if it is smaller. Graham
  8. I can scan the pics from Hobby Japan, there's no pics in this month's Dengeki. But there's not much point as the pics already posted in this thread from various sources are just as good if not better. I'm looking forward to this, even though I'm far more of a Valk fan than a ship fan. I just hope it can hold a pose and the arms are not too fragile or floppy. Graham
  9. My take on things is that only the Asuka has AG generators, and these were activated by the AFOS. The AFOS was able to control Asuka's AG field strength and size, so that the AG field was large enough to lift the whole battlegroup and the Anti-UN sub out of the water. As for why? Maybe the AFOS just wanted a closer look? Graham
  10. Before we go all overboard with speculation, I'd just like to remind everybody that a YF-21 has not been confirmed. Graham
  11. Ha.....I wish! Graham
  12. Here's the only lineart pic I've been able to find of the Asuka, from the official M0 DVD booklet. There are some CG pics of various parts of the ship in the Tenjin Valkyries artbook. op4_delta, do you have that book? Graham P.S. op4_delta, no pics allowed in sigs, please remove
  13. We're just about all gimmicked out now. Actually, that's not quite true, there's still 1 or 2 things, not revealed yet! Oh, and a correction from yesterday. There is actually a very small gap in battroid mode, between the curved middle part of the chest and the plane nose (uni-boob). It's not a gap that you can see through, as the inside of the curve has a straight horizontal bar across it. Graham

  15. While the Compendium is officially sanctioned by Big West and Egan AFAIK, bases all his information on tranlated Japanese source material, I'd have to second that it is not always 100% accurate (more like 99%!). It's the closest thing we have to accurate but the odd mistake has been known to creep in. Often the problem lies in omission rather than outright mistakes. In that just because something is not mentioned in the specs, doesn't mean it might not be there. Graham
  16. Macross Zero is most definitely NOT free of animation errors. Witness the leg FAST packs that Shin ejects from his VF-0A along with all his other weapons in episode # 5. A few seconds later, the FAST packs magically reapear back on the legs of his VF-0A. Graham Whoops........Azrael beat me to it!
  17. I'm more interested in the new missile pods, rather than the ghost. I don't know much about the ghost myself. The only feature that has been confirmed so far is that it has landing gear. I would guess that the thrust nozzle can probably move as well to simulate thrust vectoring. I hope it does get some color added. Graham
  18. No rotating seat on the YF-19, there isn't enough space. Graham
  19. What gap? If you mean in battroid mode, there is no gap, just magazine photographers who can't transform the toy correctly for photo shoots. Graham
  20. Pics are not resin. That is a near-production standard ABS test shot from the molds. Colors should be final. I can confirm they are sticking with the grey parts, not going with blue. Graham
  21. If my son gets out of hospital in time, I'll take him trick or treating. It will be his first time. Graham
  22. Yah, you people who are going to buy this instead of the YF-19 are all getting a 30 day ban! j/k Not buying the Gunbuster SOC myself as I've never really been a fan of the design. The anime is OK, but the mechs just don't grab me at all. My one concern with the Gunbuster SOC is whether Bandai may have overreached themselves this time and attempted to pack too many gimmicks and features into the toy at the possible expense of playability and durability. I guess only time will tell. From all the pics, it definitely looks to be the most gimmick-laden toy ever from Bandai, even more so than the Aquarians and any other SOC. Graham
  23. I still think it seems so wrong seeing an F/A-18 with Jolly Rogers markings. Graham
  24. One arrow is pointing to the sliding tail fin function. The tail fins slide up the back of the rear lower leg, so that they do not drag on the ground in battroid and Gerwalk mode. The other arrow appears to be pointing to the two grey locking tabs, that lock into the shoulders in fighter mode. Graham
  25. The tail fins slide up, to prevent them touching the ground in Gerwalk & Battroid modes. Graham
