  1. The official party line from Yamato has always been no two-seater 1/48. Apart from repaints and reissues, the 1/48 line is essentially finished as far as new sculpts go AFAIK. Graham
  2. Nope, Shin's VF-0A should have a white stripe not blue, plus a few other color changes. Depends on how accurately Yamato follow the OVA color scheme. Got my camera settings sorted out, so I'm good to go for tomorrow to refilm the videos at a higher resolution. I'm not really a sports fan and have little interest in Cricket, Soccer or Rugby, so I'm not really typically British. Neither do I drink tea. I live mostly on coffee. Graham
  3. Beacuse the majority of members here are from the US, so I've just fallen into the habit of using American spellings most of the time to avoid confusion. Graham
  4. OK, I'm gonna redo all the vids tomorrow at a higher resolution. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to stop the camera switching off after 3 minutes. Todays effort was good practice for me. Graham
  5. The problem is I can only shoot the videos when my son is having his afternoon nap, so I can't turn the music on. Graham
  6. Just filmed (or tried to film) the three transformation video guides as follows: - 1) Fighter to battroid. 2) Battroid to fighter. 3) fighter to gerwalk. Each video is supposed to be 5-6 minutes long. Unfortunately, I didn't know that my camera automatically powers down after 3 minutes (no way to set it longer) and I didn't realise this while I was filming. I was filming without an assistant so had nobody to tell me the camera was powering off . Unfortuantely, this means that each video is incomplete as it's missing the latter half. I'll try again tomorrow, perhaps at a higher resolution as well. I've only uploaded the first one so far. You can see it here: YF-19 Video Transformation Guide - Fighter to Battroid Mode (incomplete) Let me know what you think? Graham
  7. There's only about a zillion Gundam lineart books been published over the years. I used to have a whole shelf full of them (25+ books), when I was younger and foolish and into Gundam. I ended up giving away or throwing out most of them and now have just kept a few on Gundam Sentinel, 08th MS Team, V-Gundam, Char's Counter Attack & 0080 War in the pocket, as these are the only Gundam I like. Graham
  8. IF the RAF buys Rafales from the French, they will have to remember to ask Dassault to remove the default surrender and collaborate setting from the flight control software! Sorry, being British, I can't resist a dig. Graham
  9. A VF-22 would require the following new parts: - 1) New pilot figure as the M7 and VFX, VFX2 flight suits are all different from the one Guld wears in M+. 2) New Battroid mode face. 3) New cockpit canopy. 4) New left & right leg bay cover panels as they are completely different to those on the YF-21. The VF-22's leg bay cover panels feature completely internal gunpods (as opposed to semi-recessed on the YF-21). The VF-22's leg bay cover panels also feature two micro-missile launcher ports per-panel and an opening bay for a reaction weapon. Personally, I'd prefer to see a Max & Millia M7 VF-22 more than an M+ YF-21, but I doubt it will happen. Graham
  10. OK, just signed up with YouTube. Yeah, I just saw there is a 100MB and 10 minute limit per video. No problem, if the video is too long, I'll just split it in two. Gotta make 3 videos anyway I think: - 1) Fighter to Battroid. 2) Fighter to GERWALK. 3) Battroid to Fighter. Graham
  11. OK, I'm planning to make the transformation video guide this coming weekend, but I'm wondering whether to upload it to the MW server or put it on YouTube? I haven't really done any reasearch into YouTube. Can those in the know advise if there are file size limits, any costs involved, difficulties with uploading etc? Recommendations & suggestions please. Graham
  12. I'll start the ball rolling then, with what I can see on 1st page of toy forum threads: - Bandai 1/55 Angel Bird http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18830 Yamato 1/48 GBP-1S Angel Bird http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=20993 Any more? Graham
  13. Anybody want to help and do some homework and list the URLs to the threads that features customs that have not yet be added to the MW Custom Toy Gallery? Should be stuff from the last 6 months when I was too busy to do updates. Now we have Mechamaniac helping out, we can get the site up to date again. Just got to try not to burn him out too quickly.....LOL! Graham
  14. The lower legs can rotate about the swivel joint as shown in the pics. No, the knee armor does not hinge down like on the 1/60 VF-0 and 1/48 VF-1, but the design of the 1/60 YF-19 leg is such that it does not get in the way. Graham
  15. I'll try and get a transformation video done at the weekend. I don't have a toy infront of me right now, but basically: - With the cannards, you might find one or both of them a bit tight at first (I did). You need to pulll them out away from the body and then rotate them down. As they may be tight at first a bit of wiggling may be needed initially. To break the fighter neck, pull forward infront of the parting line while simultaneously pulling rearward tothe rear of the parting line and then break the neck forward. IT'll be easier to show on video. Graham
  16. No space for a rotating seat. The cockpit is very cramped. Graham
  17. Yes, removable intake covers. Yes, the split kite sticker is alraedy applied to the toy I used for the battroid photos. Graham
  18. The wings pivot joints (where the wings pivot in the wing gloves) are stiff enough that the wings do not freely pivot. Not sure where you got that idea. They are certainly not floppy. Graham
  19. Yes, the gap can be closed, by squeezing the sides of the rear of the chest plate together, but the left side backpack pegs tends to work it's way partially out after time. Unfortunately, the cockpit is very cramped, soo no room for Isamu's feet. Graham
  20. Nope, the wings can't be put in the high-speed swept back position. Graham
  21. Do I detect a not so subtle dig for information? I'll definitely be doing another big review for something sooner than 9 months hopefully. Graham
  22. Too right. A great many hours work went into that review. I must have easily spent more than 24 hours on it. Probably the longest review I've done. Graham
  23. Not to mention shooting '80s guns! One of the things I loved about the series was seeing the Bren Ten and later S&W 645/4506 in action. Anyway, still haven't seen the movie. Graham
  24. Heh, I think that photo illustrates that I was confident in the stability of the toy. Graham
  25. Heh, I'll have to talk to Yamato to see if I can get permission. My photo archives have some very interesting pics of things that never made it to production.. Graham
