I'd prefer the screws weren't so visible on the forearms, but in a way they sort of add to the old school charm that IMO the toy possess, so I can live with them. Graham

In episodes # 1-3 of Macross Zero the SV-51s are shown armed with just two of the micro-missile launcher/auxillary drop tank composite pods mounted near the wingtips and two of the large R-33D Amos+ medium-range maneuvering missiles mounted mid-wing. However in the last episode (episode # 5) both Nora and DD are armed with 4 of the micro-missile launcher/auxillary drop tank composite pods, along with two R-33D Amos+ medium-range maneuvering missiles and two overwing high-speed, high-maneuverability twin jet boosters. See screen capture below from episode # 5. Graham

The girl was pretty small, but it is a big toy. Big in that it's long, longer than the VF-0 or YF-19, but it's very slim & slender from the side, much more so than the VF-0 or YF-19. Yes, the stand will be included with the toy. That is a painted resin sculpt, so the actual color of the production ABS toy may be a little diferent. The release is tentatively sceduled for July, but that could be subject to change depending on how long it takes to resolve any unexpected technical issues that may (or may not) crop up during the production process. And one more teaser pic showing the weapons that are included as standard with the SV-51. FYI, the things in the top right corner are the two gunpod magazines. Graham

From what I understand yes, it will be sold both seperately and as a bundled set with the Scopedoggy. Graham

OK, deleted all the pics that were too blurry (I had a lot of booze to drink the night before, so my camera hand was a bit shaky). 180 useable pics remaining. I've renamed them all, to make it easier for me to put them on a webpage. Next step is resizing, followed by thumbnail creation (the part I hate the most). I've got about 25 pics of the Yamato SV-51 and about 30 pics of the CM's Legioss & Tread. Graham

I didn't see a single one of those signs anywhere. Graham
-
Yep, that's me. Graham
-
Sorry, it's gonna take some time. I've got to resize, rename and create thumbnails for about 200 pics, then create a page for them. At least a week I reckon. Graham

It looks very impressive in person, especially with the shoulder lights turned on. The only thing that has made me so far hesitate to buy it is the cloth joint covers. Graham

I had diplomatic immunity from scary booth guy and carte blanche to take as many pics as I wanted. Graham

Looking, playing with, zooming around etc, etc. It's purty! Graham

Don't worry, I have lots of pics of the Yamato stuff at their booth including: - 1) SV-51 w/weapons. 2) VF-0A Shin w/Ghost Booster. 3) Ghost. 4) Motoslave. 5) YF-19 w/Fold Booster (the LEDs are really cool). 6) 1/24 RC Turbo Custom Scopedog. 7) 1/12 Red Shoulder Custom w/full weapons. Of course I'm allowed to take as many pics as I want. It's gonna take me a few days to get them all together on a page. Graham

Guys, the new issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine has lineart of the Kissdum mecha. Links to the scans are below (warning, they are big). Kissdum Mecha Page 1 Kissdum Mecha Page 2 The plane is not transformable. However, the cockpit module is ejectable and transforms into a mecha that IMO looks a bit like a Glaug. The cockpit module can also attache to diferent host craft, shown on page two, one of which looks like a submarine and the other perhaps a VTOL or a hovercraft. Graham

Unfortunately, ï¼Wer SaveRobotech and myself had no chance to get one of these. The queue when we got to Tokyo Big Sight was about 2 miles long and by the time we got in to WonderFest, frozen to the bone as it's fuc#ing freezing in Tokyo at the moment, they had already all sold out. I did get lots of pics of the display samples though, which I'll post as soon as I'm back in HK. Not very impresed with the sculpt myself, especially the side on fighter view. Graham

Please discuss the CM's Legioss & Tread in the correct thread in the other anime forum. In Macross news, Yamato confirmed that the Ivanov SV-51 will come with the overwing boosters used in episode 5. Pics of the boosters and lots of pics of the SV-51 will be posted ï½ï½“ sï½ï½ï½Žã€€as I get bï½ï½ƒï½‹ã€€ï½”ï½ã€€ï¼¨ï½ï½Žï½‡ã€€ï¼«ï½ï½Žï½‡ï¼Ž Grï½ï½ˆï½ï½ã€€

I have lots of pics which I'll post as soon as I get back to HK. The sculpt and detail of the CM's Legioss & Tread blow the Toynami versions out of the water. The CM's Legioss & Tread will be released together as a set. No word onï½ï½’ice yet, ï½ï½’ cï½ï½Œï½ï½’ variations as the sculpts were unpainted. And yes, the Legioss is roughly the same size as the Toynami version. Graham

This is now out in HK. Haven't had a chance to see it yet, but Noel called me to say he'd seen it. I'm in the market for a high-end Patlabor toy, but online pics I've seen so far are not wowing me as much as I'd hoped as the white plastic looks really cheap in the photos. Have to see it in person before I decide. Graham

Seems like I'm the only one that prefers the color of the SPEC Eva01 to the SoC Eva01. Definitely think the SPEC captures the anime look more, whereas the SoC paint just looks too metalic IMO and the Eva01 that I remember from the anime definitely was not metalic purple! Graham

Off to the airport in a few hours to catch the plane to Tokyo. Still trying to decide if I should bother taking my laptop with me. It's extra weight and I won't be staying in my hotel room much except to sleep. Still, it's gonna be strange to have no internet access for 3 days if I don't take it. Originally I planned to take it so I could immediately start uploading photos from WonderFest on Sunday evening, but I've now got dinner plans Sunday and then Monday morning I'll be at Yamato's offices, so I won't really have time to work on the computer before my Monday afternoon flight anyway.
