While I'm not generally a fan of the VF-1 Hi-Metal R series, I must admit, that VE-1 looks gorgeous.

Wondering if Arad and Chuck's DXs will ever be released. Seems a long time since any news, especially for Chuck And of course the holy grail VF-31A.

Surprisingly, against all expectations, I actually enjoyed this movie much more than I thought I would, especially as it was set during the Vietnam war, which has always been a period I've been fascinated with.

Sad news. I'm a huge George Romero fan.

New Macross TV Series in 20xx (sometime this decade)
Graham replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
Frontier was awesome IMO, I actually now prefer it to SDFM and my beloved M7. -
Has anybody else's mid-strut hinge on the front landing gear become so loose that it folds at even the slightest movement.

Well, that was the easiest Bandai Macross pre-order in years for me.....haha.....phew!

Forgot, is the VF-2SS preorder at 3pm or 4pm Japan time today?

I'd definitely buy at least two VF-2JA.

Most playable IMO are the 1/55 VF-1 and 1/65 VF-17.

The Alien/Predator/Aliens vs. Predator Thread
Graham replied to VT 1010's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That's one of the things that bugs me about action movies, when the heroes fire high round counts but are not shown carrying spare ammo and never or seldom shown reloading. And if they do have mag pouches on their vests, they are obviously empty. And don't get me started on plate carriers without plates.....LOL -

This will be the first Transformers movie that my son and I won't go to see at the cinema. Thankfully he's lost interest in Transformers, so I don't have to go and suffer through it. Fool me 4 times, Michael bay, shame on you, fool me a 5th time, shame on me..........Hahahaha!

To be honest, I didn't even know Lansay made copies of the 1/55 scale VF-1. Macrossworld's Carl Hoff (if he is still active on MW) may know more, as he is our resident expert on Lansay toys. Just did a bit of Google searching and came up with this French link, but that's all I could find: http://en-broc.blogspot.hk/2010/09/robotech-valkyrie-lansay-vf-1j-1985.html

Solo: A Star Wars Story, in theaters May 25, 2018
Graham replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Oh, I'm sure I'll watch the Han Solo movie, but it's not a movie I ever wanted. Nor am I excited about it in any way. I'm not at all a fan of origin movies to be honest. For the most part they are completely unnecessary and often diminish a character. Now a live action Ahsoka movie, live action Rebels movie or an Obi Wan Movie staring Ewan McGregor, I'd be all over those.
