Extra weapons. Both of the YF-19's leg FAST packs carry additional twin micro missile lanchers.
The YF-21's belly FAST packs also both have an extra twin micro-missile launcher.

The Brutishdog has already been announced as the next release in the Bandai 1/20 Votoms plamodel line.
I'm sure Bandai will milk the molds for all they're worth and we'll see many Scopedog variants.

But the rear landing gear is not even supposed to go in the belly flaps, it's supposed to go in the wing roots.
Now is probably a good time for the oft repeated Blade Runner quote.

I don't hate the VF-1, far from it. It's one of my all time favorite mecha designs and my Yamato 1/48 Hikaru VF-1S Strike Valk remains my all time favorite toy. It's just the market has been over-saturated with VF-1 toys in the past 5 years. I'd far rather see other VFs get the toy treatment.
As for the RX-78, that's just fugly.

The display stand, 2 x overwing boosters, 4 x micro missile pods and 2 x R-33D Amos missiles are all included, as I've mentioned quite a few times before.

The release date is supposed to be 25th July, but this might get pushed back slightly. I'll have more firm news on Friday 20th as I have a meeting with Yamato then.

I'm so bored with the VF-1, but if Kaiyodo did the YF-19, YF-21, VF-0A/S & SV-51, I'd buy them in a heart beat. Oh, a Destroid Cheyenne would be cool as well.

Tempted to bid, but a little bit scared of the yellow bits being stickers not paint. I know you mention they resist peeling but...........
Anyway, can we add this to the MW custom toy gallery?

Hmm.....that's bad news that Toynami kept control of the molds and is making them instead of Aoshima. That means they are Aoshima branded only.
I'm sure quality would be better if it was a 100% Aoshima controlled project.

No, the white and red YF-19 and VF-1 were not fan customs, they were official, but were one-offs and but will not be released for sale.
The blue VF-1S and dark blue YF-19 are the production 25th toys as nobody like the original white and red versions.

There are no separate HK and Japan versions of Yamato's Macross toys. Each release is made in one production run at the factory in China. There is no difference in either design or materials for the toys sold in Japan or elsewhere. They are 100% identical.
Japan doesn't get toys significantly earlier than Hk. In fact there have been at least two times I can recall when Yamato Macross toys actually hit the shelves here a couple of days earlier than in Japan (they weren't supposed to tho).
Yes, it's possible I might be getting fed BS. Or possibly my contact either doesn't know about breakages or isn't being told about them. Which would be worse if employees are hiding problems from the top management.
