  1. Middle scan is Megahouse. Graham
  2. Here's a slightly higher resolution scan of the pics I posted earlier today, from the March 2008 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine. Graham

  4. Guys, here's the latest pics from the new March 2008 issues of Dengeki Hobby Magazine and Hobby Japan Magazine. Enjoy (or not as the case may be). Graham

  6. So who's gonna be the first one do a custom SMS paint scheme on their Yamato 1/100 Konig Monster? Guess we need somebody to make some custom decals or stickers. Graham
  7. Here's a higher res scan of the mecha. Graham
  8. You two go get a room or something, before I throw a bucket of cold water over you. Graham
  9. I'm guessing they are propellant tanks or power packs. Graham
  10. I just noticed the Gerwalk mode ventral vernier slats are there..........sorta. David H should be pleased. Graham
  11. The new slim lower legs on the VF-171 mean that a transforming toy that is accurately proportioned in all 3-modes should be possible. Although the chunky lower legs on the original VF-17D/S from Macross 7 look better IMO, they make it impossible to have a slim line-art accurate fighter mode toy (witness the Bandai 1/65 DX VF-17D/S). However, the slim lower legs make me wonder whether the VF-171 does have a gunpod, or just relies on the twin chest guns only? I know the manga shows the VF-171 with a VF-17 style gunpod, but it just seems to me that there is no way it would fit in these new slim lower legs. Graham
  12. Don't quote me on this, but from what I understand, the 1/60 VF-1 with FAST Packs will retail for roughly the same as a 1/48 without FAST Packs. Graham
  13. Notice that because the VF-171's nose is longer, it has to fold in battroid mode. Graham
  14. Link to full review: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/Y...-21_review.html New YF-21 pics from the new March 2008 issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine. Note the rotating pilot seat an aslo the ability to attach the gunpods either directly to the fighter's belly plates or to the FAST Packs. I'll do a better scan when I get home tonight. Graham
  15. New pics from the March issues of Hobby Japan Magazine and Dengeki Hobby Magazine. FAST Packs!!!!!!!! Graham
  16. Quick scans done on the office scanner from the new March issues of Hobby Japan Magazine and Dengeki Hobby Magazine. I'll do some better scans when I get home tonight. I can't say how excited I am that we are going to be seeing both the VB-6 Konig Monster and these modified Q-Raus in Frontier. I love the shark mouth on the Konig Monster. Still no news on Frontier toys and models though. Graham
  17. If you'd have asked me, I'd never thought the Kaiyodo Revoltech VF-1 toys would sell, but MWers seemed generally to love them. Graham
  18. If I understand correctly, there has been some resulpting of the toys since those pictures. The ones I've seen certainly weren't that chunky. I was pretty happy with what I saw. Graham
  19. I'll pick up the new Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby today during my lunch break (in about 3.5 hours time) and try to get them scanned in after lunch). Graham
  20. Kresphy, I think they are official wallpaper by MBS, not fan works. Graham
  21. Beacuse the new 2 seaters are not out yet. I'll get rid of the old ones when the new ones come out. Graham
  22. Got rid of my old 1/60s years ago, except for the two seaters. Graham
  23. Found this on a financial website. Quite funny I thought. Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock in the UK, uncertainty has now hit Japan. In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches. Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived. While Samurai Bank are soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja Bank are reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black. Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal. There is also concern over the fate of Kimono Bank which, it is believed, has been hung out to dry, whilst Ming Bank fear this to be the end of a dynasty. However; and on a positive note Rickshaw Bank, say they have put wheels in motion to prevent the situation completely running away with them.
