    Only one more to go!

I've also got my Urban Camo GBP on my Roy VF-1S. Graham
  13. If azrael's translation (above) is correct, I find it interesting that the VF-171 is listed as a multi-purpose heavy fighter/bomber. Makes me wonder if NUNS have a dedicated space/air superiority fighter that we still haven't seen yet. Graham
  14. Watched episde # 1 of Macross Frontier about 13-15 times so far. As for other Macross shows: - SDFM TV = 3-4 times. DYRL = 12-15 times. FB2012 = 4 times. Macross II = 10-12 times. Macross Plus OVA = 10-12 times. Macross Plus Movie = 4-6 times. Macross 7 = 6 times. Macross Dynamite 7 = 4 times. Macross Zero = 8 times. The above approximate figures represent how many times I've watched them all the way through. I've watched individual scenes from each anime far more times. Graham
  15. There were never any Macross II toys released and only one plastic model kit, the Bandai 1/100 Scale VF-2SS with SAP. Both B-Club and Musasiya released various Macross II resin garage kits. You can find details of them in the main site. Yamato will not make Macross II toys. I have tried to persuade them many times, as I would love a VF-2SS and VF-2JA toy. However, Yamato have a very close working relationship with Kawamori-san and Kawamori dislikes Macross II, so Yamato do not want to do anything to anger him. Graham
  16. They are mostly ABS, with full internal skeletons, not made of cheap PVC dog poo like the Revoltechs. People should think of them as being closer to HCM-Pro rather than Revol(ting)techs. Graham
  17. I'm sure that letter designations for the VF-25 and VF-171 will all be revealed in good time, as will full stats. Graham
  18. The only shows I care about at the moment are BSG, Supernatural and The Unit. Oh, and the wife loves Grey's Anatomy.......(yawn!). Graham
  19. These are not supposed to compete with the high-end 1/60 variable toys, they are designed as affordable, fairly low price point toys, priced somewhere between HCM-Pros and Revoltechs. Posability was never supposed to be on par with Revoltechs. You want that sort of posabilty you gotta have ugly exposed joints like the Revoltechs. Yamato wanted to avoid that. Personally, I can't stand the apperance of the shoulder ball joints on the Revoltech VF-1 series. They are too exposed and cause the toy's shoulders to sit far too high. Graham
  20. Possibly referring to the hip/wing root guns on the VF-25. Graham
  21. I really hope we get some clear shots of the back of the VF-25 battroid soon. I really want to get a better look at exactly how the back plate and wings are positioned. Graham
  22. It's great that the official site has been updated, although I'd like to see more in the way or hard stats for the mecha, especially exact weapon loadouts and engine thrust. Seems there's no mention of pinpoint barriers, wonder if they have them? Some more VF-171 pics would have been nice as well. Thought I'd snag the pics from the official site and post them here. SW-XA1

No, the SW-XA1 & SW-XA2 are not cannon as yet according to Kawamori. Read the following Macross Compendium link for details: - SW-XA1 And that is not a toy shown in the Character Model magazine. It is a one-off scratch built resin garage kit. Graham
  24. There was actually a Macross 7 game for the Gameboy released back in the mid or late 90s. I might still have it somewhere. It was a side scrolling shooter. Graham
  25. I'm trying very hard to forget it. Graham
