So does anyboy know if these were all ready released at the last Wonder Fest about a month ago? Or are they going to be released at the next Wonder Fest in August?

Guys,
Here's the scans from the latest issue of Hobby Japan Magazine (May 08 issue).
Picturewise, nothing really new that we don't already know about. However, I think these are the biggest pictures we've seen of the Armored VF-25 so far.
Hopefully, somebody can translate the text about the VF-25 and VF-171, in case here is so new info.

Wow, only just found out about these a couple of days ago. I gotta get me one of those 17s.
Yes, while the fighter's nose is a bit too long, it's otherwise pretty amazing.
I've always thought that you couldn't make a VF-17 toy with the bulky lower legs of the line art, while still keeping the fighter mode nice and sleek.
The Experten versions seems to be a great compromise between battroid and fighter mode proportions. Certainly better than the Bandai 1/65 DX toy.

Freakin' awesome!
See trailer here.
Yakuza, Ninjas, Tempura, Sushi, Chainsaws, Flying Guillotine, Drill Bra, Revenge!
OMG, this movie has everything! I so want to see this.
Hollywood, with your endless bland remakes eat your heart out!

While Yamato has the rights to make the VF-X2 version of the Konig Monster, I doubt that would affect Bandai's rights to make a Macross Frontier version of the Konig Monster.
From what I understand, Big West grants the merchandising rights by series and scale, not by Mecha type.

Got to see and handle the sculpt up close yesterday and was blown alway. It has excellent detail and surprisingly good articulation. A dynamic spread leg stance is indeed possible. I'm really looking forward to this.

I know one reason why the GN-U cost more than Revoltechs. They are significantly larger.
I was shown a photo last night of a Revoltech VF-1S standing next to the GN-U YF-19.
The GN-U YF-19 is significantly larger than the Revoltech.
The top of the VF-1S head (head not head lasers) only comes to about the lower chest of the YF-19. Actually, it looked like the top of the VF-1S's head only came to around the bottom of the YF-19's uni-boob (fighter nose cone).
And just to stress, all photos of the GN-Us shown so far are just the rough sculpts. The production versions will have significantly tighter seems and smoother finish.

I also posted this in the Frontier news thread.
There's an update of the official site blog about the toys and models:
Running it through bablefish we get:

I hope this one is better. I hated the Ang Lee flick. It's right at the top of my list of all time worst movies sharing top place with Battlefield Earth.

All these suggestions are all well and good, but can any of our Japan based members actually help us post our suggestions? SaveRobotech? Renato? Sketchley?
Now we probably can't post every suggestion, so we should narrow it down some what.
Out of all the suggestions, the ones I like the most are Seraphim (or Seraph) and Katana.

In ackem's translation of chpater 3, Luca says the following about Klein Klan: -
(referring to her change from an adult giant body to a child miclone body).
This seems to imply that she changes size quite frequently. I guess she probably goes giant size when she needs to fly her Q-Rau, then spend the rest of the time human size. Perhaps most of the fleet facilities are for human size occupants, so it is more convenient.

It's to early to say what Klein Klan's exact postion is within SMS.
It's been stated that she is a captain, but captain of what? At this stage we still know next to nothing about SMS.
My guess is that she is the leader for a Flight or Squadron of SMS Q-Raus.
