I must admit, that Klan is not my favorite female character in Frontier, nor the cutest IMO. However, I'm absolutely blown away by the quality of the Klan fan art being posted here. Color me impressed. Graham

Probably very likely. While it's been stated that they can regenerate the chaff or missiles, I'd imagine it does take time. Graham

I suspect that even with their high efficiency energy converting armour, the Red Vajra may still have some week spots where they are vulneable to gunpod fire. IIRC, in episode 1 or 2, don't we see the Red Vajra shielding itself with its forerms to protect itself against gunpod fire. Perhaps Alto just got lucky with his point blank gunpod fire, or SMS are starting to get a better idea about which specific areas on the red Vajra to target. Obviously, it's easier to hit a small target the closer you are to it. Graham

I was going to post this in the Klan thread, but as we are trying to keep it clean, I'll be naughty and sneak it in here instead...tee hee! Here's my 'safe sex' solution for when the male is micronized and the female is macronized, ala Klan and Mikhail. Bad Graham

Known and confirmed for quite a few months already. Graham

We'll, presumably one of them has to either micronize or macronize until they are both the same size and then they do it the good old fashioned way. If you don't know how it's done yet, google 'sex education', or ask your parents. It's not my job to teach you the facts of life! Graham

Definitely some differences. Let me get back to you on that. Need some time to compare the Frontier screen capturers, with the CG pics of the Cheyenne that were published in an old issue of HJ. Graham -

I'm a big fan of watching TV in bed. Graham -
Hopefully, 23cm is to the top of the head, not the tips of the head lasers. Graham

What, you mean reverse engineered from a Walther P-38 9mm pistol? Graham

It's still early days yet. I'm sure Bandai will come out with a nice product. Graham

10-1 odds that David is going to jump on me for not using the right technical term here..... Graham

Yes there are fins on the VF-25's lower leg in fighter mode (same place as on the VF-1). However, in battroid and Gerwalk modes, they are suppoosed to fold inside the VF-25's lower leg. It sounds like you are thinking of the tail fins, which are attached the wing glove area by hinges. Graham

That pic looks like it's from the new Hobby Japan magazine, which isn't due to hit the street until May 25. You can tell it's from HJ, by the blue lines at the top of the page. Anyway, looks nice, but a bit chunky. I'm sure once we see a fully painted version in a better pose, it will look ace. You can tell the joints are really loose looking at the pic, especially the shoulder, which is just sorta hanging down. That's only to be expected on an early prototype like this and I'm sure Bandai will get it sorted out by the time it reaches production. Graham

Original Robocop was near perfect IMO. No need for a remake. Remake the sequels if you want, they were crap IMO, but leave the original alone. Same with the first Highlander, it was perfect. The sequels were all complete and utter dross, but the original Highlander is a fantastic film. No need to remake it IMO. Red Dawn.......hmm, so is the remake still going to be set in the 80s'? Not sure how this would work and not sure it really needs to be remade. Next, they'll be talking about remaking Alien and Aliens! Graham

True, but the last Namco Ace Combat game came out on the XBox 360 and that's previosuly always been a Playstation exclusive title. Graham -

Just regular DVD players. Normally, I'll watch Frontier on my work laptop, which can handle .MKV, .AVI & .MP4 files with ease, just it's a pain carrying it home everyday, so I like to have the eps on a DVD to watch on my standalone DVD players, so I can watch them when I don't bring my work laptop home. I'm usually rewatching one episode at least of Frontier every night. Graham -

The AiA I-Z subbed version doesn't play on any of my three stand alone DVD players when burned to DVD-R, neither does the Gattai .MKV version. My three stand alone DVD players are a 3 year old Aiwa, a brand new Samsung & and a 1 year old no-brand, cheap Chinese DVD player which normaly plays everything. The only fansub release that plays on my stand alone DVD players and normal TV when burned to DVD-R and is the Shinsen Subs .AVI version. Although, sometimes the subs run off the edge of the screen when watching on the 21" TV in my bedroom. Haven't tried watching them on the wide screen TV in my living room yet. As well as file type and encoding, I'm wondering does resolution aslo have something to do whether or not they will play on a stand alone DVD player? Sorry, not an expert on audio-visual matters. 1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?
Graham replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
The upcoming 1/60 VF-1 is not perfect, nothing man-made is. There's a couple of small things I don't like about it, but nothing major. From my experience so far, I find it a huge improvement over the 1/48 in terms of both looks and function. And yes, I'm a huge 1/48 fan, but when the 1/60 comes out, my 1/48s will be retired to storage. Graham -

I hope, the Shinsen sub for eps # 6 & 7 comes out soon. They are the only ones that play on my stand alone DVD players when I burn them to DVD. My home desktop PC is so antiquated, that it has no chance of being able to play anything. I can't carry my work notebook (which can play everything) home with me everyday. Graham -

I seldom buy games these days, as I rarely have any time to play. The last game I bought was A.C.E. 3 for the PS2, the one with the YF-19 and YF-21, which is a pretty damn good game IMO. Graham -

A Frontier mecha combat game on either the PS3 or XBox 360, with mecha CG as close as possible to the TV series, would be the one game that would finally make me splash out and buy one of the next gen consoles. At the moment, I'm still happy with my PS2 and see no need to change. Graham -
Oh, the Bandai DX VF-25 will definitely get a front page review. Count on it! Graham

Maybe the mods and/or Shawn may disagree with me, but IMO, the pics that have been shown in this thread so far are fine. Panty, bra or bikini pics are acceptable IMO, but no nudity or sex. Graham
