Nice detail on the back of the shield, follows the line art well. The photo makes me think that you might have to manually unplug the shield from one side of the arm and plug it in another side when transforming from fighter to battroid mode. Graham

Not talking about having Vajra swarms every episode, but it's been ages since we saw any Vajra at all. At least some Vajra action every 3-4 eps would be nice. Graham

Definitely looks like the hands are removable and do not fold or retract inside the forearms. Not surprising and half expected it really, given how skinny the forearms are. Graham

And of course poor Luca is Kakizaki and we all know what happened to him. Graham

Looking great so far. My only concern is whether the developer manages to balance the game well between the three modes. I hope it will not be too biased towards battroid mode. I really want to be able to have some nice dogfights in fighter mode. I wonder if the Vajra will be included? Graham

That's the feeling I got, that it was all warning shots and covering fire. Despite the two sides dislike for each other I got the feeling they weren't quite ready to turn things into a bloodbath. And Alto is becoming quite the acconmplished knife fighter. Anyway, hope we get to see some more of the Vajra soon. They have been absent for far too long. Graham

Decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and pre-order the Macross Chonicles from HMV Japan. I'll let you all know how the service turns out. While I'll probably be able to find them easily enough retail here in Hong Kong, I'm going to be on vacation in UK from mid-July, to early August and don't want to risk missing the first issue with the binder, as I'm sure it will sell out quickly. The Bandai 1/60 scale DX VF-25 toys are not scheduled for release until November 2008. The Bandai 1/72 scale VF-25 model kits are scheduled for September release. A bit of simple research, i.e. reading a few pages back would dig up this information. As with all release dates, these may be subject to change. Graham

There's supposed to be 30 pilots in the game and over 40 playable mecha, so we haven't seen them all yet. Graham
