I'm sure we will see Super and hopefully Armored versions of Alto's VF-25F and Ozma's VF-25S from Bandai at some point. As to whether all the Super and Armoured parts will be fully removable, I have my doubts. I'm sure we will also see Michaels' VF-25G and Luca's RVF-25 in kit form, but beyond that it's still unknown if Bandai will release other mecha from the show. Graham

I think the problem that many of us have is that we know Bandai have the skill/technology/experience etc, to make a great looking lineart accurate (as far as possible) toy that is durable and rugged to boot. The problem is that they are so obviously not bringing their 'A' game to the table. Heck, Yamato is 95% of the way there. All they need to do is take more care with their QC and work on tighter joints that don't loosen or break so easily and they would be 100% of the way there. Graham

VF-2JA yes, I like it as well, but Metal Siren, no, no and no. It's an extremely fugly design that just doesn't fit in with the Macross design aesthetic IMO. Graham

I mentioned the game, because MAF does have missiles rendered on the wings for the VF-1, but not for the VF-25. Graham

Many of us (myself included) have bought and built the model already and it is the best looking representation of the VF-25 so far. Check out the relevant threads in the model forum, as we shouldn't discuss the model here. Yamato are not talking with me at the moment (not sure why). I haven't had any replies or news from them for 3 months now. Previously, they did indicate that the Frontier licence may become available in 3 to 4 years. However, I can foresee Bandai blocking them permanently, same as they have done with the M7 licence. Graham

Will still buy the 1/60 DX, but I think just one of each instead of multiples as originally planned. At this point in time the 1/100 parts-former is looking far better. Sigh............I just know that if Yamato had the 1/60 licence, their rendition would be a thing of great beauty. Oh well, it is not to be. Graham

I'm new to the PSP, but I gotta say the placement of the power button really sucks. About three times now during frantic gameplay, the palm of my right hand has accidently powered off the system. Graham

Still playing through the M7 missions. Haven't tried any other eras yet. Maxed out the VF-17D and currently tuning up the VF-17S. I guess my reflexes must really be slowing down with age. As for most missions the best ranking I can get is an 'A' and I only have one 'S' so far. No SS at all. Graham

While the new Macross Ace Frontier PSP game should in no way be taken as accurate spec wise, it's interesting to note that the VF-25's are shown seeingly firing missiles from internal bays. No missiles are shown on the wings. I suspect there is some limited internal missile carriage somewhere on the VF-25. Graham
