    Not entirely true, there are also subtle differences to the chestplate (slight reshaping and a couple of small blisters added). David also thinks there is a difference with the backplate as well, in that it has different shaped slots for the head lasers to rest in fighter mode. Graham

    I stopped buying the monthly issues, but did get the collected vol.2, which goes up to chapter 8 IIRC. Been very busy and home scanner has gone T.U. Graham

    Prices are pretty good IMO, considering you get Super Packs and a display stand. Still cheaper than Yamato's bare YF-19, which doesn't include a stand or FAST packs. Graham

    Looking good. It's reasuring to see necks on both the VF-25G and RVF-25. I'm still concerned whether the VF-25G's gunpod will have any ground clearance in fighter mode, due to the short landing gear. Hope to see the plethora of whiote markings on the Super packs tampo porinted on the production versions. Graham

    Not sure how accurate this is, but I thought it was an interesting article. Read: Blu-ray is dead! I recently bought a 1080p HDTV, but I still have no interest in Blu-ray. Still happy with my DVDs. Graham

    Anybody know how to get the Thora 01 to play? Downloaded it and it's just a bunch of .ttf, .otf and one .ass file. Can't get it to play using either VLC or Media Player Classic. Thora 02 to 07 are all .MKV and play fine for me using CCCP & Media Player Classic. Graham

    Yay, after 22 hours playing the M7 missions, I finally tuned up all but the sound force mecha to the limit, got an S rank on all the missions and my first ever SS on the Ex mission with Max doing the canyon run in his VF-22 (this had been giving me a lot of trouble). On to the Macross Plus missions at last. Graham

    Well, after a dozen transformations, the left front landing gear door will no longer stay on in battroid mode. The nubs that hold it on have worn away, so the slightest touch, as in when transforming to battroid mode causes it to fall off. In he closed position, the door will still stay on. Graham

    Why would a VF pilot be stupid enough to fly right in front of a Gundam at point blank range and stand still while the Gundam hit him with his beam sabre. VFs are all about superior speed, mobility, range and firepower. Graham

    The MSRP is about what was previously rumored and seems acceptable to me, as long the toy locks together well, doesn't suffer from lose joint syndrome and is nicely finished. Oh and should be mostly of ABS construction. I will pass if it is the same PVC dog poo material as the EMSIA and GFF. Can't stand that rubbery crap. That price is only slightly higher than the model kit. Graham

    I wouldn't worry too much about the paint chipping. What is shown in the photos is obviously a completely hand painted sample, not a production version, where the main color (grey for VF-25S and white for the VF-25F), will be molded in the correct color plastic. The ony place on this toy that I'm am concerned about paint chipping is possibly on the diecast intakes. Paint scraping of the black and red (Alto) and black and yellow (Ozma) trim could also be a concern during transformation, but we will just have to wait and see. Graham

    Bah, the series is better than every single Gundam anime put together IMO (despite being a virtual Gundam clone). Down with Gundam! Up with Dragonar! Graham

    Can you actually drink out of these, or am I thinking of the wrong sort of mug? If you can drink out of them, they might be cool, but otherwise, they look like toys for toddlers IMO. Graham
