I'm not quite sure what to make of this pic. Disturbing yet strangely arousing all the same. There's just something about chicks with large bananas in their mouth. Graham

Those girls are seriously cute. Graham

I think the success (or not) of the VF-19 is going to make or break this line. Graham

Actually, for the VF-25 battroid, the image of an angel always came to mind while watching the show, never an insect. The Vajra were the insects. Graham

Best TV series: Macross Frontier. Honorable mention - Macross 7 and SDF Macross. Best movie: DYRL. Honorable mention - Wicked City. Best OVA: Macross Plus. Honorable mention Bubblegum Crisis and Macross Zero. Macross Frontier rocks, great music, astounding animation, beautiful mecha designs, well choreographed fight scenes, likeable, non-angsty characters etc, etc. Graham

Pass. 100% not my cup of tea. Please Kawamori, get this silliness out of your system and start work on the next Macross anime. Graham

My RVF-25 also came with a small battle scar (paint chip) out of the box, but on the back of the left lower leg. Graham -

Just received the EMS shipping notice from OverDrive regarding the Alto and Ozma Super Parts, so I should have them in a few days. A few minutes later, I received another email from OverDrive as follows: - Good that Bandai is taking action to correct this and good on OverDrive for supplying the corrected parts. Graham -

I suspect the extra holes will also be used for the Super Fold booster as well. Graham -
What's wrong with the Cheyene II, it's a great looking destroid IMO. Graham

I never thought that the Frontier mecha were insect like or organic. Graham

Finally had a chance to take one of my two RVF-25 DX out of the box when I got home last night at about 11pm. I’m happy to report that both black stripes under the cockpit are present. However, at night under incandescent lamps, the color separation is much more obvious and immediately noticeable. You know what though? It doesn’t bother me at all! I’m a sucker for Elint Valks and think the RVF-25 looks just great, even with the different shades of green. I love that you can spin the radar dish and had great fun spinning it. I’ll probably keep the RVF-25 in fighter mode most of the time as I think it looks best in that mode. Also, I’ll probably keep the Super Packs off, as they make it look a bit too busy IMO and distract from the radar dish and ventral Elint fin. Graham -

Heh, so many people position the missile pods incorrectly. Graham -

I suspect this whole color difference thing is something which is much more visible in photos and not so much with the naked eye. Unless I was lucky, I certainly couldn't see much (if any) difference with my two. Graham. -
Flexi-stands are great with most VFs IMO, but not I've found with the VF-25 DX in fighter mode. I've found that if you want to have the DX pointing even slightly nose up on a flexi-stand then the rearward centre of gravity of the DX can make it slide backwards off the stand. Had one near disaster already. Graham

Picked up two RVF-25 DX from my usual Bandai supplier last night. I took them out of the box and examined them in the shop under the shop's flourescent lighting, but couldn't really detect much noticable color difference with the green plastic. Haven't had time to take them out of the box at home and examine them yet though. Graham -
I'm probably the only person who prefers the look of the X-32 over the X-35. It's ugly yes, but looks menacing IMO, like a shark. Graham

Not me, I gave up on Gundam half way through Destiny. Tried watching the first 6 eps of 00 season 1, but it did nothing for me. Just thought I'd stop buy ans see what you all are saying about season 2. Graham -

But isn't the toy super part missile count different from the model kit super part model count? -
Looks good. I'm guessing you canibalised the old Bandai 1/144 scale model kit for parts? Graham

There is still a trickle of shoulder breakages reported with other VF-1 V2 1/60 releases after the initial VF-1S Focker problems, but the number of reported breakages so far as been very small. Graham
