  1. Picked up two RVF-25 DX from my usual Bandai supplier last night. I took them out of the box and examined them in the shop under the shop's flourescent lighting, but couldn't really detect much noticable color difference with the green plastic. Haven't had time to take them out of the box at home and examine them yet though. Graham
  2. I'm probably the only person who prefers the look of the X-32 over the X-35. It's ugly yes, but looks menacing IMO, like a shark. Graham

.....cough.. end of year....cough. I wasn't here, you didn't see me.
  4. Not me, I gave up on Gundam half way through Destiny. Tried watching the first 6 eps of 00 season 1, but it did nothing for me. Just thought I'd stop buy ans see what you all are saying about season 2. Graham
  5. But isn't the toy super part missile count different from the model kit super part model count?
  6. Looks good. I'm guessing you canibalised the old Bandai 1/144 scale model kit for parts? Graham
  7. There is still a trickle of shoulder breakages reported with other VF-1 V2 1/60 releases after the initial VF-1S Focker problems, but the number of reported breakages so far as been very small. Graham
  8. Or like CM's did with the constuction Labors. Graham
  9. No, that's two competing Eurocanards (Typhoon and Gripen). The subject of the conversation was the Rafale and it cannot compete with itself! Graham
  10. I use a mix of flexi stands, Yamato's stands (v.1 & v.2) and also now the Bandai DX stands. Graham
  11. We need a 1/60 red Vajra for Armored Ozma to fight. It can be PVC to keep cost down. Graham
  12. Looks fantastic. The VF-25S with armored pack was always my favorite mecha from Frontier. Can't wait to get it. Graham
  13. Quite happy with my VF-25G so far. The only complaints I have are: - • The loose hip armor. • Some chipping of the black paint on the top of the left 5-hole shoulder block, despite being very careful with transformation (easily touched up with a Gundam marker). • Two of the tines on the sniper rifle get knocked off very easily. On the plus side, the joints are nice and tight and I have no problem with the groin connector on mine. Also, until somebody mentioned it, I never noticed the different shades of blue plastic. Doesn’t bother me a bit though, as it’s hardly noticeable IMO. Will be picking up my RVF-25 tonight and will open the box to check before I pay, as the color difference issue does seem more worrying with the green plastic. Graham
  14. Looks like the scratchbuild model kit shown in Hobby Japan Magazine about 3-4 months ago. A nice build, but sorry, not a toy and nothing to do with the DX, so shouldn't really be posted in this thread. Graham
  15. I would love to see some snow. I haven't seen any in 22 years.
  16. Confirmed, the leg parts for the Armored pack do have their own rear landing gear. The latest pics in the new issue of 'Figure Oh' magazine, show the Armored pack rear landing gear in the open position. Will scan and post when I have time. Graham

The Galaxy defender is not a VF-17 knock off and I wish people wouldnot call it that. It bears no relation to the VF-17 and does not share a single common component. It is more correct to call it a transforming F-117 toy. Graham
  18. Hmm.....looking better than the previous pic from a few weeks ago and looks like there may be less parts swapping on the VF-19 than I suspected. Not much meat on the back of the upper legs though, although that is unavoidable on the 19, unless you have that part swapable. Graham
  19. Heh, if the original short neck could be 'over extended', then it wouldn't be a short neck.......LOL! Graham
  20. Those who didn't like or love MF, we have your names now and our operatives will be coming for you soon to escort you do the mandatory re-education camps. Do not try to flee. Resistance is futile.
  21. The neck in that new pic is definitely much longer than the standard neck. If you look closely, it looks segmented. Big improvement on the standard neck IMO. Also, looking at the new pic of the fighter mode w/Armored pack, it looks like the tail fins do not have enough room to fold down. However, I then looked at the rear view pic of the battroid wearing the Armored pack and the tail fins do appear to be folded in that pic. Graham
  22. Both Dragon Ball Evolution and Legend of Chun Li have been getting terrible reviews here in HK. No plans to see either of them. Graham
  23. The hip armor has two teeny, tiny little tabs, that fit into extremely shallow little slots, one of those slots being the bottom of the hip gun joint. Basicallly, the tabs are useless, being only slightly better than friction fit. Graham
