  4. Changes to the VF-25 are by no means certain. It's just something they are considering.
  5. Meant to check, but forgot. Will check when I get home.
  6. wondering how many of each missile will come with the set? I'm guessing 2 of each type.
  7. Blu-Tack? Crazy glue? Spit? Hidden magnets in the wings that we don't know about? New replacement wings? Over-wing clips ala the old missiles from the 1/55 Strike Valk? I hope they will work with all the DX, not just the VF-25G & RVF-25.
  8. One more pic (this time from crappy phone cam), showing edwin3060's method of locking the neck, this time with head facing forward. Ozma has neck!
  9. Just tried your method & it works great. Stable & higher. Ozma's chin now actually doesn't touch the top of the chest plate for the first time. 2 pics attached
  10. Line art from the Movic blue book of VF-25 Battroid & Fighter cockpits & control stick.
  11. Scans from March Hobby Japan & Dengeki Hobby attached. First pics of open missile hatches on Super Packs & CG pics of Ghost & Fold Booster from Gallia IV sets.
  12. New VF-25 line art from March Hobby Japan attached.
  13. In terms of overall design, yes the DX does give me the feeling of Yamato's 1/72 M+ toys. I love the DX enough to buy 2 of each, but the upturned wings, gap under the nose, limited leg articulation, small landing gear etc really give me a Yamato circa 2000 vibe.
  14. yeah, I was wondering about the misnumbered cosplay apparel page. Annoyimg. Hope they correct it later.
  15. Still no news of Ozma Armored Pack in the new hobby mags.
  16. IMO, Bandai's 2008 VF-25 DX are roughly comparable to Yamato's 2000 toys in terms of design. Graham
  17. Just picked up the new hobby mags, it's confirmed that the missile hatches do open on the DX Super packs. The missiles inside do look quite small. Will try to post some scans later. Graham
  18. I used to have a Starbird as a kid. It was my favorite toy, until my parents made me give it to my cousin from Sweden during a vacation, just cus' he liked it! Grrr..........still haven't forgiven them for that, especially as they never did buy me the promised replacement. Graham
  19. LOL........how quickly some people give into temptation and forget their resolutions. I give you exhibit A: - 17 days! not exactly a long time eh Drifand? :P Graham
  20. I think the problem with the Toynami/Aoshima Alpha/Legioss is not so much which factory that made them, but rather the actual design itself. While the Beta/Tread is obviously CAD designed, and thus far superior in fit, the Alpha/Legioss was clearly hand sculpted hence the poorly fitting asymmetrical parts. Toynami really need to go back and CAD design a whole new Alpha/Legioss. Oh, and use better, non-crumbly material for the hands! Graham
  21. All you guys have been doing great work on these translations and I do appreciate how time consuming and hard work it must be. Gubaba is my personal hero for tackling the VF-25S page. As we discussed a few pages back is there a possibility of editing the VF-25 gunpod paragraph. Graham
  22. It will be interesting to see how many VF-25DX toys suffer from this problem and if certain MWers come down as hard on Bandai as they have on Yamato. I suspect not, as Bandai seems to get cut more slack around here. Graham
  23. Think I'll stick with the 1/60 versions, as I've retired all my 1/48 to storage already. Graham
  24. Scroll down the page, there is already a thread about this. Graham
  25. Cool, the new Hobby Japan has Kawamori lioneart for the chest armour. Graham
