Personally not a fan of any of the AOZ stuff. I used to buy Dengeki Hobby magazine every month back when AOZ was being serialized in the early-to-late 2000s and I always thought that the AOZ mecha were quite boring and unimaginative designs. To me the AOZ designs always just seemed lazy, like let's just take some exiting MS designs, recolour them and slap some extra weapons and boosters on them.

Really? Seriously? Why? and NO NO NO!!!!!!!! When there are literally millions of fantastic original novels that could be adapted into movies, Hollywood is attempting a second movie reboot of a 70s TV series.....Grrrrr! Pass just on principal.

Eaglemoss Star Trek Starship, BSG & other starships Collection
Graham replied to Sandman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I've still yet to watch all of DS9. Back when it originally aired, it wasn't shown in my country, so I only was able to see a few random out of order episodes a few years later on rented VHS from Blockbuster, back in the day........LOL I have recently started watching DS9 on Netflix. Currently on season 2, but to be honest it's also kinda an insomnia for me cure at the moment, I do find many episodes send me to sleep. Probably doesn't help that I watch it on my bedroom TV. Hopefully it will pick up once I eventually reach the Dominion War episodes.- 924 replies

Eaglemoss Star Trek Starship, BSG & other starships Collection

I recently watched all of Enterprise and ended up really enjoying it, to the point it's now one of my favorite Trek shows. Which is strange as when it first came out I absolutely hated it, found it really boring and couldn't even make it all the way through a single episode. I think I tried watching 3 episodes when it first came out and ended up switching channels after about 10-15 mins.- 924 replies

I've got all the original Bandai Metal Robot Spirits Gundam Sentinel figures and the ShowZ toys look to be exact copies of the Bandai Ex-S Gundam. But anyway, I have pre-ordered the ShowZ red Ex-S Gundam, so it will be interesting to see what it is like and how it compares.

The NERF gun colours still put me off. If only the orange parts had been teal instead, Then I would have ordered.

This year is definitely a great year for kits of Gundam designs I actually like: 1) The ver 1.5 MG S-Gundam / Ex-S Gundam (currently building). 2) The MG F-90 (pre-ordered). 3) The RG RX-93 Nu Gundam (will definitely buy).

Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Graham replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I wonder if it will be available internationally from 12th November, or only in the US? The USD6.99 per month cost is not bad, but doesn't mention how many concurrent devices that lets you view on, or whether that price is for the US only or also the international price? In comparison for Netflix Hong Kong, I pay USD11.90 monthly which lets me view on up to 4 devices and download.- 1481 replies

I also don't want the RG to have a psycho frame gimmick. Although I've been wanting to build another RX-93 for a while, I skipped the MG ver. Ka, as I really don't like the psycho frame. Opening shoulders showing the psycho frame wasn't in the Char's Counter Attack movie, so I don't want it in a kit. Thankfully the RG seems not to have it.........yay!

Originally I hated, or barely tolerated the prequels when they first came out, but the Clone Wars cartoon series which I watched together with my son when he was a kid really helped me appreciate and enjoy the prequel movies more.

I've just started watching Enterprise recently on Netfix. I never saw it when it originally aired. I'm now up to season 2 and really enjoying far more than Discovery. Actually, I did catch bits of a couple of episodes of Enterprise when it first aired but couldn't get into it, but now I'm really enjoying it, Anyway, sign me up for a Captain Pike TV series!
