  1. Just to expand on what others have mentioned. The only VF-25 model kits currently in production by Bandai are in 1/72 scale. So far the following kits have been released: - 1/72 VF-25F Alto. 1/72 VF-25S Ozma 1/72 VF-25G Michael. 1/72 RVF-25 Luca with 3 x Ghosts. 1/72 Super Pack Set. 1/72 VF-25F Alto with Super Packs. 1/72 VF-25S Ozma with Super Packs. The following additional 1/72 scale kits have been announced by Bandai, but not released yet: - 1/72 VF-25S Ozma with Armored Pack. 1/72 VF-25F Alto with Armoured Pack. 1/72 Q-Rea. 1/72 VF-27. Additionally, Bandai have recently announced a 1/48 scale VF-25F Alto, but as yet there is no word on the price, the release date, or even whether it will be transformable or not. Moving onto the toys. The Bandai 1/100 scale VF-25F Alto, VF-25S Ozma and VF-25G Michael released so far are parts-forming toys, not model kits. By parts-forming, I mean that some parts have to be removed and other parts attached to transform between modes. Quite a few parts actually. These are part of the Bandai VF100s line, which will eventually feature variable fighters from all the various Macross anime (that is if the line sells well enough to continue). Other confimed releases coming soon are the vF-25F Alto with Armoured Pack and VF-19Kai Fire Valkyrie. Bandai also makes a line of perfect transformation VF-25 toys in 1/60 scale. Released so far are the VF-25F Alto, VF-25S Ozma, VF-25G Michael with Super Packs & stand, RVF-25 Luca with Super Packs & stand. Super Packs and stands for Alto and Ozma have only been released as webshop exclusives so far. Coming releases include the VF-25S Ozma with Armoured Pack, standalone Armored Pack for Alto (webshop exclusive), a clear VF-25F Alto and webshop exclusive Ghost and Fold Booster sets. Graham
  2. Not really, besides the tampo prointing rubbing off, which you are already aware of, it's a pretty sturdy toy. The only potential issue is that the battroid mode crotch lock seems to be looser on some toys than others and also does tend to loosen after several transformations, leading to self-unlocking in battroid mode, a problem exacerbated by the additional weight of the Super Packs. Graham
  3. I doubt the armor will be removable at that scale, so hopefully, the part count should be not much more than a bare VF-25. Graham
  4. Yes please. Graham
  5. Could somebody please scan and post the Wave SDF-1 Instruction sheet? Need urgently. Graham
  6. Beware the battroid mode head laser on the VF-25G, it can get knocked off and lost really easily. Instead of being attached by a hinge, the bottom of the laser is a ball joint, which lugs into a fairly shallow socket in the head. Fairly gentle contact with the head laser can knock it out of the socket. Movent is fairly limited, about 10 degrees rearward and 30-40 degrees forward, you certainly can't point the head laser all the way forward or to the rear. Only had the toy out of the box for half a day and managed to knock the head laser off 3 times now, the third time it got lost. Luckily, Bandai supplies a spare head laser. Graham
  7. LOL. Ommmmmmmm. Heh, could we have a new Macrossworld meme here? Ok, from now on the phrase Perfect transformation is banned. It's gotta be 'Perfect Trance' ya' dig.

  9. Sold. Good price & gimmicks.
  10. Heh, when I get home tonight, I've gotta see if it's possible to pose a V2 1/60 VF-1 in the lotus position, to make the "Yamato Perfect Trance model". Graham
  11. Oh, and if anybody can enlighten me how to obtain a perfect trance, I'd love to know. Graham
  12. Sigh young grasshopper.........the first version Yamato 1/60 scale VF-1 series was not perfect transformation. You had to remove and reattach the legs. Graham
  13. You forgot the PT 1/60 VF-0 series and SV-51. Graham
  14. Anybody hear a date yet for release of the Galia IV and Ghost accessory sets? Graham
  15. Picked one up yesterday for HK$340, but haven't been able to open it yet. Graham
  16. Oh and here's the link to that visit Tokyo Toy Fare 2002. Can't believe it's 7 years ago already. Sigh........better times and places. Time really does fly. Oh, and I should have more pics somewhere. I'll see if I can dig em' up. Graham
  17. Yes it is. Sitting on my right, is the infamous Seichi and next to him of course is Shawn. Can't remember the name of the guy sitting next to Noel, but on the far left at the back, that should be Renato. Graham
  18. Will try to pick up one when I finish work at 6pm. I'll see if I can find a good price in the Oriental 188 Center. Had a quick look in Tai Yuen Street in Wanchai after I finished my afternoon meeting, but only one shop had it and they were asking for HK$442!!!!!! No friggin way! Graham
  19. I'm going to give this movie a 2.7 out of 5. This means I would see it at the cinema once, but once only and will not be buying the DVD. It's an enjoyable enough summer action movie IMO, but you really need to turn your brain off at the door, not worry about the numerous glaring mile-wide plot holes and just enjoy the flashy visuals. Graham
  20. Ranka doesn't look to good "Blob Ranka", but to be honest at 1/60 scale, what did you expect? Heh, yeah the 007 is printed upside down. Graham
  21. Will probably pick up a VF-25G today. It's disappointing how the sniper rifle sticks out of the back of the plane in fighter mode. It's very sneaky of Bandai how they kept that hidden in all the publicity photos leading up to release. Hate when toy companies make outsize guns for action figures, ala the GNU VF-11B. Will probably keep this one in GERWALK mode using the speaker pod wings, as my DX VF-25G is already in a battroid mode aiming pose. Graham
  22. Heh, Noel sent me this link, which is quite funny. On another related subject, I went it to Toys R Us for the first time in about a month and saw they had the Playmates Terminator toys. Boy, do those thing look sucky! Sculpt and articulation-wise, they reminded me of action figures from the 80s'! Graham
