  1. From Aug HJ. DX Quarter will come with mini red Vajra, Q-Rea, König shuttle, König Destroid, VF-27 fighter, RVF-25 fighter, Armored VF-25 fighter.
  2. The age of consent in UK is 16, as it is in a great many countries around the world. From a quick bit of online research, it seems that in the US although it varies from state to state, in many states the age of consent is also 16. See: Age of consent around the world. So if she was a real person, Sheryl would be legal in many countries. As she's not a real person, it's sort of a moot point. Graham
  3. Have discussed Regults with Yamato on a couple of occasions. It is a possibility for the future, but at this stage they are still undecided. Graham
  4. Not surprised that Mobile Armors don't handle well in the Gundam games. Given how unaerodynamic most of them are and how little they have in the way of atmospheric control surfaces, it's not surprising. Graham
  5. Here's the cover of the new August 2009 issue of Hobby Japan magazine (out today). It should include a big article on the new 1/72 Armoured VF-25 kit. I will pick up the magazine this evening after work. This is the third Macross Frontier cover we've had from Hobby Japan, which is something of a record as far as Hobby Japan and the Macross franchise go. Mac II had one cover. IIRC Mac 7 only got 2 covers. Mac Plus and Mac Zero none. Not sure about SDFM TV & DYRL. (also posted in the model forum) Graham

  7. Based on articles in the hobby mags, I'm also pretty sure it's the second custom she's done. Graham
  8. The VF-25G is a special case though. Michael is primarily a sniper, which implies mainly using battroid mode. IIRC, we never see Michael dogfight in fighter mode in the series. IMO, for Michael the fighter mode is just used to quickly get him as fast as possible to a position where he can snipe in battroid mode. Graham
  9. We have a calendar page on the main site here. It needs updating with the 2009 Macross Frontier calendar. Such a shame there were no Macross calendars for 2001-2008. Graham
  10. Still fairly easy to find in shops here in HK. Perhaps some of our HK based members would be willing to help you obtain one. Graham
  11. Thank you for posting some clarification iker. It is much appreciated. Graham
  12. Thought Shinsen were dead! Graham

  14. Yay! I spotted a VF-19S on the official website! Sombody should compile a list of all the mecha seen so far on the website and magazine articles. Graham
  15. Yeah, as much as possible I played MAF in fighter mode, with only limited use of battroid and gerwalk where necessary. Graham
  16. Cautiously optimistic. This sounds like just the right project for Tim Burton. Hopefully, he'll hit a home run this time. Graham
  17. Haven't seen it yet, but if there is wire-work in it, then I refuse to watch it. IMO, martial arts movies should be about showing real martial arts skill, not about silly unrealistic wire-fu. Graham
  18. Nice job. Looking forward to seeing the rest. Graham
  19. I usually order books from Amazon Japan or HMV Japan.
  20. You mean you actually admit to watching DBE!????? Graham
  21. Hopefully, there'll be a book 2 for those kits not out yet. Graham
  22. The August issues of Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby magazine should be out in a day or two. I'm hoping we'll get some new pics of the VF-19Kai, as I'm dying to see how it's coming along. Hopefully, if it sells well, it would lead to a VF-19F, VF-19S and VF-19P release as well. I know I'd buy all of them. Graham
  23. Just want to call a quick time out from this whole 'Ohnogi' thing to have a quick rant about silly bloody made up internet phrases that don't make any sense, namely "Shipping War"! First time I ever heard this phrase was in this thread and I had to look it up as I had no idea what it means..........certainly, nothing to do with ships or shipping!!!!! If you said "shipping war" to me, I would have thought you were talking about the Battle of the Atlantic in WWII, were the U-boats and warships of the German Navy tried to destroy the convoys bringing supplies from the US to the UK. Or perhaps a cost cutting price war between modern day shipping companies. Or perhaps even at a stretch, the ongoing Somali piracy threat to shipping. Certainly, I would have never guessed in a million years that it refered to "Verbal arguments between people who have different opinions about romantic relationships between characters of a show, book, etc." (definition taken from www.urbandictionary.com). Rant off. Graham
  24. Far from a masterpiece IMO. At best I'd rate it a 'C-'. A typical throwaway actioneer of the period, with no real outstanding features. No desire to see it again. Strictly mediocre.
