  1. Could somebody please scan and post the Wave SDF-1 Instruction sheet? Need urgently. Graham
  2. Beware the battroid mode head laser on the VF-25G, it can get knocked off and lost really easily. Instead of being attached by a hinge, the bottom of the laser is a ball joint, which lugs into a fairly shallow socket in the head. Fairly gentle contact with the head laser can knock it out of the socket. Movent is fairly limited, about 10 degrees rearward and 30-40 degrees forward, you certainly can't point the head laser all the way forward or to the rear. Only had the toy out of the box for half a day and managed to knock the head laser off 3 times now, the third time it got lost. Luckily, Bandai supplies a spare head laser. Graham
  3. LOL. Ommmmmmmm. Heh, could we have a new Macrossworld meme here? Ok, from now on the phrase Perfect transformation is banned. It's gotta be 'Perfect Trance' ya' dig.

  5. Sold. Good price & gimmicks.
  6. Heh, when I get home tonight, I've gotta see if it's possible to pose a V2 1/60 VF-1 in the lotus position, to make the "Yamato Perfect Trance model". Graham
  7. Oh, and if anybody can enlighten me how to obtain a perfect trance, I'd love to know. Graham
  8. Sigh young grasshopper.........the first version Yamato 1/60 scale VF-1 series was not perfect transformation. You had to remove and reattach the legs. Graham
  9. You forgot the PT 1/60 VF-0 series and SV-51. Graham
  10. Anybody hear a date yet for release of the Galia IV and Ghost accessory sets? Graham
  11. Picked one up yesterday for HK$340, but haven't been able to open it yet. Graham
  12. Oh and here's the link to that visit Tokyo Toy Fare 2002. Can't believe it's 7 years ago already. Sigh........better times and places. Time really does fly. Oh, and I should have more pics somewhere. I'll see if I can dig em' up. Graham
  13. Yes it is. Sitting on my right, is the infamous Seichi and next to him of course is Shawn. Can't remember the name of the guy sitting next to Noel, but on the far left at the back, that should be Renato. Graham
  14. Will try to pick up one when I finish work at 6pm. I'll see if I can find a good price in the Oriental 188 Center. Had a quick look in Tai Yuen Street in Wanchai after I finished my afternoon meeting, but only one shop had it and they were asking for HK$442!!!!!! No friggin way! Graham
  15. I'm going to give this movie a 2.7 out of 5. This means I would see it at the cinema once, but once only and will not be buying the DVD. It's an enjoyable enough summer action movie IMO, but you really need to turn your brain off at the door, not worry about the numerous glaring mile-wide plot holes and just enjoy the flashy visuals. Graham
  16. Ranka doesn't look to good "Blob Ranka", but to be honest at 1/60 scale, what did you expect? Heh, yeah the 007 is printed upside down. Graham
  17. Will probably pick up a VF-25G today. It's disappointing how the sniper rifle sticks out of the back of the plane in fighter mode. It's very sneaky of Bandai how they kept that hidden in all the publicity photos leading up to release. Hate when toy companies make outsize guns for action figures, ala the GNU VF-11B. Will probably keep this one in GERWALK mode using the speaker pod wings, as my DX VF-25G is already in a battroid mode aiming pose. Graham
  18. Heh, Noel sent me this link, which is quite funny. On another related subject, I went it to Toys R Us for the first time in about a month and saw they had the Playmates Terminator toys. Boy, do those thing look sucky! Sculpt and articulation-wise, they reminded me of action figures from the 80s'! Graham
  19. I was going to, but the higher than expected cost forced me to reduce my order to 2.
  20. Not sure I will display the Super Fold Booster. It's a little too pink. Yeah, I know it was that way in the anime, but really on the toy, it looks very gay IMO. Love the missiles and Ghost though. Graham
  21. The official Frontier blog has the preview of Chonicles issue 25 up. Cover mecha is the VA-3C!!!!? WTF, I'd have much rather they have gone with the much nicer looking (IMO) VA-3M from VF-X2. I wonder if this lends weight to the theory that the events of VF-X, VF-X2 and M3 are no longer canon, as they seem to be completely excluding them from Chronicles. Looks like a free card from the upcoming card game is included as a gift. Graham
  22. Worth it or not? Thinking about picking up the DVD. Graham
  23. 9 hours and counting until I see TS. Graham
  24. Must say that the security at the nuclear power plant in ep 2 of S2 was increadibly lax. Graham
