Well after seeing the trailier that was running in the local Toys R Us, my wife decided not to let me take my son to the cinema to watch ROTF. She has agreed, to let him watch it when it comes out on DVD though. I can never figure out women's logic! I let my son choose one of the smaller Transformers ROTF toys as a consolation. He chose an Autobot that transforms into a warship. IIRC, it's called Depth Charge. Does this actually appear in the movie? Graham

Members posting fake news, as a joke or otherwise is intensly annoying IMO, due to the amount of time wasted debunking it to those that got taken in. People often refer back to the fake news as real weeks, months or years after!

So is this news about a new OVA in 2011 & a new TV series in 2012 confirmed or just fan speculation only? If not confirmed, please don't post such stuff in the news thread. This thread is for confirmed news only, not fan guesses.

b The GBP-1S chest armor has vent ports on the side, as do other parts of the armor, like that for the arms. The VF-1 super arm packs even look to have exhaust fans built in according to the Gold book poster. When you fire that many missiles at once the smoke needs somewhere to go. Pretty sure I've seen vent ports on the VF-11 & VF-0.

Not convinced those chest ports are 2 of the 22mm guns. IMO, They are likely the vent ports for the chest missile exhaust. Agree those ovals on the hip armor are not the 22mm guns, based on the new lineart. Perhaps the 22mm guns are in the forearm packs, 2 per arm pack?

This is the third Macross Frontier cover we've had from Hobby Japan, which is something of a record as far as Hobby Japan and the Macross franchise go. Mac II had one cover. The VF-25G is a special case though. Michael is primarily a sniper, which implies mainly using battroid mode. IIRC, we never see Michael dogfight in fighter mode in the series. IMO, for Michael the fighter mode is just used to quickly get him as fast as possible to a position where he can snipe in battroid mode. Graham
