while the VF-19kai's legs look a bit iffy (but still way better than the first prototype IMO), The toy looks great from the waist up.

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed tha Bandai has not shown any new DX prototypes at the show. It would have been a great chance to unveil a prototype of the DX VF-27 or VF-171. Heck, or even some more interesting VF-25 repaints that people actually want, like say a Cannon Fodder brownie VF-25, or an "All That VF" variant. I'm ttotaly not interested in the "Renewal" VF-25F and even the recent crystal clear VF-25F DX was extremely meh IMO! Graham

Got mine last night. If you are at all a fan of the VF-1, then get this book. It looks like it is the definive tech reference.

AFAIK, this book is by GA Graphics, not Yamato. And we already have an older existing thread on it, which can be found on the 1st page of the 'Movie & TV series' forum.

Agreed, the "Renewal" baby blue FPs look really bad. Will not buy. IMO the "limited" grey FPs look much, much nicer.

Something I've been worrying about for a while with the Armoured DX, but have been unable to see a good pic of the side of the leg until now. It looks like Bandai might have forgot to sculpt in the vents on the sides of the leg missile pods.

Not keen on the color of the Alto DX FPs. Will definitely pass.

The 19 looks great. Hopefully we'll get a 19F/S/P as well. I sure hope that König is varible. Looks like it could be. Sure as hell don't want a non-variable version.

What gap? Even with the pics, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for? Can somebody add some arrows to the pics for poor dumb me? Just to add, I'm perfectly happy with my VF-22. No issues at all. Certainly no gaps have caught my eye. May pick up a second one.

A big hearty pass on any VF-1 toys in this line. Anything but the VF-1 please.

If you are referring to Sheryl's ability to communicate with the Vajra, then yes, she only gained it after Ranka cured her. If on the other hand you are referring to her singing ability, I think that's all her own natural talent. At least I don't recall her being "artificially" brought to her ability, beyond possibly the singing training/coaching that any aspiring pop star would get.
