  1. Singing voice from a Black hole!? First I've heard of that. Perhaps Basara went back in time when he followed the galactic whale at the end of MD7 and it's his voice coming from the black hole......Bomba! Graham
  2. Actually, Sebastian was living in Shanghai, not Hong Kong, although he did visit HK quite often on business. And he's been back in Chile quite a while already, about 6 months or so I think IIRC. Graham
  3. Havn't been following this thread too closely. Any photos yet of this next to The Revy Regult for comparison? Graham
  4. Very disappointed with Pandorum, but mostly for the cinematography or maybe it's the DVD transfer. The picture was so bloody dark that for at least 70% of the movie, you couldn't see what was going on at all. Pretty much just like watching a black screen. The story itself wasn't too bad. Graham
  5. My Gamlin and Max are fine. No missing parts, no problems with stability. The only minor issue is after a few days in fighter mode, the left wing starts to droop slightly. Simple to push it back up though. The Max 22 is one of my all time favorite Valks. Still haven't unboxed my Milia yet. Graham
  6. Liked the first one, thought it was quite a fresh concept at the time. Tried watching one of the sequels, I forget which, either 2 or 3 and fell asleep halfway through......LOL! Graham
  7. I emailed Sebastian and got a reply back that he his family are all OK, just some minor damage to his house. Graham
  8. Can somebody remind me when the web-exclusive grey Q-Rea is supposed to be released? Thanks, Graham
  9. Bandai should include a lilac paint pen with every VF-27 DX, for emergency touch ups. Graham
  10. Guys, I've received one paypal payment that I have no idea who it is from. Please remember when you send payment to include a note with your Macrossworld name. Graham
  11. Guys, to keep it simple the same fee will be charged to everybody. I'm charging US$2 per person, which covers the cost of the packing materials, i.e. the padded envelope, the shipping charges which so far have been under a dollar US each, something to cover any charges that Paypal will no doubt stick with, plus a little bit for my time, as this has taken up far more of my time than I expected. Hope that is not too unreasonable. The hinges are of course free of charge. Please send payment by paypal to grahamandamy@gmail.com and when you send payment, please make sure to mention your Macrossworld name and real name, so I know who it's from. The second batch of 20 envelopes will be posted out in the next couple of days. Updates will be posted in my sig. Graham
  12. Emailed OverDrive at the weekend to ask if they can obtain the VF-27 DX greenie normal version, but no reply yet. Graham
  13. My schoolboy French is extremely rusty, but he didn't just refer to me as famous did he? Graham
  14. See my sig for new update. Graham
  15. What the heck are you using to open the landing gear on your Yamatos, a screwdriver, with an extremely sharp head and then just stabbing it while blindfolded into the landing gear well multiple times? If I can't get a landing gear open with just my fingers, I'll use either a wood toothpick or the plastic shirt clip from a cheap ballpen that has a removeable cap. I've opened landing gear on my Yamatos many times and never had paint chipping like that on any of them. Graham
  16. Yamato are aiming for the end of the year for the 19Kai, so it will probably be a while before we see and prototype pics or CAD lineart. Graham
  17. Sounds like, Alex has infected Renato with whatever strange Valk killer disease he has. Seems like it's highly contagious. Maybe I should cancel my trip to Japan in April. Don't want to get infected with the dreaded Valk Killer disease. Graham
  18. Depends, do you want me to get working on getting the replacement shoulder hinges packed up and sent out, or would you rather I do a review of the VF-27. Priorities, priorities, priorities! Graham
  19. I don't know why so many complaints about the poseability (or lack thereof) of the VF-27's hips. I find the articulation and poseability to be very good. Graham
  20. Just to say both my VF-11C are perfect. I'll likely be picking up a third one next week. Fantastic toy. Graham
  21. What happened to Renato? My slow-ass antique computer is having trouble with the download. Graham
  22. Heh, my view is a bit different, well more like 180 degrees from yours. I'm like "the Bandai VF-27 DX is overall a great toy and is close to approaching Yamato levels of awesomeness, but Bandai still need to take a few more lessons from Yamato before they get there".........LOL! Graham
  23. What happened to Renato? Can't be bothered to load the movie on my slow-ass antique computer. Graham
  24. Where are you getting the 8 barrel info from? Always thought it was 7 barrel. Graham
  25. I may be wrong, but my understanding is that with present day technolgy, solid state lasers are still only in the kilowatt range, where as chemical lasers are in the megawatt range. Graham
