  1. Saw it on Saturday with my son. Really enjoyed it. Much better than expected.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm gonna pass on the Armour Pack. Really don't like the design and colour scheme. Plus it's likely to be a joint killer in battroid mode.
  3. Saw the Metal Build Eva in a shop here in HK today. But not being an Eva fan, I didn't pay much attention to it and didn't check the price.
  4. Really enjoying this. It came out on Netflix HK a couple of weeks ago I think ,but due to being insanely busy at the moment I'm only up to episode 7. Watching together with my wife. Never read or even heard of the comic before.
  5. Watch out for yellowing, one of my three VF-25F renewals already has some yellowing.
  6. My Gundam Sentinel, Metal Robot Spirit/Robot Spirit collection. Standard Nero not visible, hidden in the back behind the Task Force Alpha Ex-S.
  7. I'm the opposite, I far prefer DYRL Valks
  8. Wow, seriously they have domed head rivet detailing, not flush head rivets.......groan. So, I'm guessing the VF-1 is a pre-WWII design........LOL
  9. You lost me at "guardian mode" .
  10. Back when Clone Wars was airing, Hasbro sold a shit ton of figures and vehicles, well at least before they regressed back to the 5 points articulation.

    Macross figures

    Glow in the dark?
  12. Looking at these new ver 2.0 MG S Gundam and EX-S Gundam pics and also other pics I've found online it looks like Bandai have made quite a few changes and improvements over the older MG S and Ex-S kits. Besides the retooled chest, shoulders and head taken from the Deep Striker, it also looks like the blue trim on the shoulder wings and back (waist) wings may now be a separate piece of colored plastic, which is so is a fantastic improvement. Can't wait to buy this kit.
  13. damn, the built-in anti-grav drive looks to be working very well :P
  14. Awesome. the S and Ex-S are one of the very few Gundam designs that I like as much as my Macross VFs.
  15. These days my son and I only buy 6" Black Series Storm Trooper or Clone Trooper figures. We've always been trooper fans more than Jedi fans. When my son was a kid, we had (and still have) a huge collection of 3.75" Clone Wars figures (Clones, Droids Jedi) and vehicles. Used to have some amazing battles. Now he's a teen, actually since he was about 11 or 12 we switched to the Black Series 6". I'm an Original Trilogy fan and my son and I are both huge Clone Wars fans. Hoping to get some cool new 6" Black Series Clone Trooper figures when the new episodes of Clone Wars air. And we'll also definitely be buying the Black Series 6" General Grevious when it's released.
  16. This thing is such train wreck. You wanna look away, but you just can't LOL
  17. It always surprised me that Arcadia never re-released the Yamato 1:60 VF-17D/S Nightmare toys. I was hoping for a VF-17S in Milia colours from Arcadia for the longest time. Perhaps the VF-17 was one of the molds that Arcadia didn't get when Yamato went out of business?
  18. Somebody, please just make Xeku Eins and Xeku Zwei figures (from Gundam Sentinel), sized to the Robot Spirits toys.
  19. Damn, it must be years since I looked through mine. This is making me all nostalgic, gonna have to crack it open tonight,
  20. Masterfiles books being pushed back!!! I'm shocked, shocked I tell you
  21. I just want the Cannon Fodder version, can never remember the model number. I far prefer the standard head over Keith's Annubis head.
  22. Dang, that pilot figure really is tiny. Bandai retconned the storry so that Hikaru is 9 years old when he pilots the VF-1J? LOL
  23. In still images the big eyes look terrible. But in the movie footage, they look slightly less bad.
  24. As long as it's not male K-pop. Don't want an androgynous bland boy band with bowl hair cuts.....LOL
