  1. I'm not worried about the processing power of the PSP. My concern is whether the VF performance will be deliberately handicapped, with slow turning, poor flight performance etc, so as to not make other lesser mecha seem too bad in comparison, the way that has seemed to happen with the recent PS3 Ace Game. Graham
  2. Saw the Banadai 1/72 scale VF-25F with Tornado pack model kit has been released already. Saw it in the Sino Centre branch of Animate last night, but didn't check the price, as I was busy toy hunting. Graham
  3. Just to clarify, the set contains the following parts:- 2 x ventral large missile pods, with opening hatches for Tornado Pack. 4 x snap-on fuel tanks(?), which fit on the front of the Tornado's wing-tip engine pods. 4 x reaction missiles. 2 x double reaction missile mounts for the Armoured Pack. 2 x single reaction missile mount for Tornado pack (can only be fitted if the big ventral missile pods are not installed). Pics attached. Graham
  4. Just picked up the "Powered Weapons Set" last night for the Bandai DX 1/60 VF-25 Tornado / Armored. This set includes the Space Parts for the Tornado pack and Reaction Missiles and mounts for the Armored Pack. Bought it in Ins-Point shopping centre for HK$350. Ins-Point was the only place that I found selling it and I searched all the usual suspects. A few quick pics attached. Graham
  5. Moving, this topic, as it shouldn't be in the toy forum. Graham
  6. Yep, just finally got around to reading World War Z recently and really enjoyed it. I'd read the Zombie Survival guide a few years ago, but disn't really like it, as I disagreed with a lot of what Max Brook wrote, especially involving equipment. That's probably why I delayed so long in reading World War Z. I've been a fan of Romero's Dead movies since first seeing Day of the Dead in the mid-80s. I own and frequently watch all 6 of Romero's Zombie movies as well as the Tom Savini remake of Romero's Night of the Living Dead, which I think is excellent. Not a fan of any Zombie movie with fast-movers. Graham
  7. On the fence about this, but starting to waver towards buying it. That shark mouth and eyes look so cool. Graham
  8. No, the team that designed the 1/60 Yamato VF-19Kai, is definitely a completely different group to the people that designed the 1/100 Hi-Metal VF-19Kai for Bandai. Graham
  9. For those members living in Hong Kong, I saw today that Hong Kong Records in Pacific Place in Admiralty had several copies of the Blu-Ray Hybrid Pack sitting on the shelf in the games section. The cost was HK$639. Graham

  11. Oh, and mild objection to the slightly misleading thread title. The zombies in the Walking Dead are Romero slow mover type zombies, or as referred to in the comic, 'Roamers' and 'Lurkers' and they do not talk. They ARE NOTthe silly talking zombies from the 'Return of the Living Dead' comedy movie, that always say "Brains". Graham
  12. As a huge fan of the Walking Dead graphic novels, I've been really looking forward to this. Hope they stay reasonably faithful to the comics and that it doesn't get cancelled after one season as so many promising genre shows seem to do these days. Graham
  13. Definitely will be buying the full game when it is released. Graham
  14. On the fence about this. Will need to see more/better screen shots and then wait for some reviews after release. To be honest, I'm not a fan of 99% of the non-Macross mecha in the game and think most of them are damn silly looking. That, together with the fact that Macross mecha in ACE games often have handling problems, so I'm gonna wait and see before getting all excited. Graham
  15. Watched the trailer. While I like Madhouse, this doesn't look like my cup of tea at all, as I'm not into racing or hotwheels looking cars. Will pass. Graham

    YF 25 PROPHECY

Like all of us, I'd love to see the design team that did the DX VF-27, do a complete redesign of the DX VF-25 toy. Probably won't happen though. Unfortunately, Bandai doesn't even seem to be doing any more mold-milking of the existing DX VF-25 mold. They have had plenty of time to do a cannon fodder, but haven't even done that yet, so I don't expect a YF-25 Prophecy from them. Graham
  17. Not surprised by that as it's also featured in the PSP MAF & MUF games. Graham
  18. Just broke down and ordered the movie DVD from Amazon.jp. Graham
  19. Hi Metal VF-171 & VF-171EX, I'd buy a squadron of each if done well. Graham
  20. Any updates? Graham
  21. Despite the issues I have with the Hi-Metal VF-1J (glued on intake and stupid angle of the gunpod in fighter mode), I will probably pick up 1 of the DYRL Valks. Still hoping for news of the VF-19F soon, as that is an easy one for Bandai to do. It better come with a fighter mode gunpod attachment this time thouhgh! And yes, I'd love to see Bandai's take on the VF-0S/D/A in Hi-Metal form. Probably won't happen though. :-( Graham

    VF-0D

The Bandai 1/250 scale Macross Fighter Collection VF-0D is a nice, but little toy. I think our best bet for a 1/60 scale VF-0D is to have Captain America make a conversion kit for the Yamato toy. Graham
  23. So no VF-171, VF-171EX or Q-Rare then? Graham
  24. So which mecha, with what packs do you get to pilot in Trial Frontier? Graham
