  1. Or Hasegawa, could do like Wave does with their 1/100 scale VF-1 kits and include the necessary Gerwalk conversion parts with the batroid and fighter mode kits. Graham
  2. So am I. I actually realy enjoyed the first movie. The fight choreography and level of detail in the final fight was amazing. Graham
  3. For Gundam, yes. For Macross, not so much Probably due to economies of scale and also perhaps that Bandai has never put as much care and attention into Macross products, compared to Gundam. Graham
  4. The CAD pics you refer to that showed the intakes compressor blades and exhaust nozzles in the feet are over a month old (from last month's Dengeki Hobby). The much newer CAD pics I posted on this page (just a few posts above your post), from this month's Dengeki Hobby (published just a few days ago), no longer show the compressor blades. Of course, that could just mean that the toy now has removeable intake covers, or worst case scenario, it could mean they are using the old VF-25DX legs. I doubt that is the case, but you never know. Graham
  5. It's not a YF-19 in that pic, it appears to be a VF-19S. Graham
  6. Haven't seen the new Anakin yet, but the new Obi Wan has been out here in HK for several weeks already. Graham
  7. Studied the magazine pics last night, which are clearer than the scans and no gun barrels are visible either in Tenjin's art our the model kit pics. Also sketchley's translation mentions the SV-52 Oryol has no offensive armament. My thinking is that the hip/wing-root guns simply have their ports faired over for streamlining (it is a racing plane after all), as does the VF-19ACTIVE. 8. Cool, I wonder how many clones it can hold? Although it's sort of a moot point as the chance of my wife allowing me to buy another large SW vehicle for my son is kinda remote (unless I wanna divorce that is)...Mwhahahahaha. Graham
  9. Keith, was it you who mentioned that one of the Gundam games had multi-map missions, where you could exit one map and fly onto another map? Hope MTF has this feature. Very happy with the mecha listed as being in MTF so far. My only remaining wishes are to include the VF-2JA, VF-3000, VF-5000B, VA-3M & the powered suit from ep 1 of Mac Plus OVA. And for a potential 4th PSP game (if there is one), or for the PS3 game, if they add Macross-R mecha and campaign and Mac Frontier 2nd movie mecha & campaign, I'll be over the moon. Graham
  10. It's only a 1,260 Yen kit, so you can't expect too much. Graham
  11. Release date is 3rd February. Graham
  12. MUF is a fantastic game. I've got 320 hours logged on it so far! Graham
  13. P, S & F are a given from yamato, so not really needed on the poll IMO. It really comes down to VF-19EF (Macross-R), VF-19ACTIVE (Macross-R), VF-19A (VF-X2), Remake YF-19 (Mac Plus), VF-19E and other colors/variations (Master Files). Graham
  14. Where are you getting that from David? I'm not seeing it on the lineart. Graham
  15. Well, if it's appearance they are talking about, they are kinda stating the obvious However, if they are referring to performance that is interesting. My best guess so far is that it is a slightly improved version of Brera's beam gunpod. Graham
  16. No, the wings slide into the wing gloves. Graham
  17. Thanks for the feedback Renato. I will definitely pass on this game. Only a few days now until Macross Triangle Frontier is released anyway. Very psyched about that. Graham
  18. Cockpit canopy shape is different, as are the feet. Graham
  19. CAD art from the new March 2011 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine. Basically the same pics as in thee Figure-Oh (or maybe it's Hyper Hobby) pics posted a few days ago, but bigger and clearer. Starting to like this more now. I wonder if the text mentions if it uses the legs from the VF-25DX or not? Graham
  20. Just gonna replace the pics with larger versions. Graham
  21. Unpainted Model kit scan and sprues from the new March 2011 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine (out today). Graham
  22. Here's the scans of all 6 pages of the latest installment of 'Macross the Ride' from the new March 2011 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine (out today). Notice the SV-52y Oryol model kit has rear-swept canards, whereas the lineart has forward swept canards. Other changes from the SV-51 that I can see, as well as the feather-like outboard ailerons and new head that sketchley mentioned are: The Oryol has the wing root guns deleated. Active stealth antenna around the nose gone. Side hybrid sensors infront of the canopy gone. Lacks the SV-51's dowward tuned wingtips. No gunpod in the lineart, yet something is filling the space where the gunpod's magazine normally goes. Slightly redesigned legs (the part with the orange band around it on the planes dorsal surface (i.e batroids knee area). I'm wondering if the SV-52y uses thermonuclear engines? (Edit: changed pics to larger versions) Graham
  23. Yes, a few days ago. We've been discussing it in the YF-29 toy thread. It's Durendal or Durandal, named after the legendary mythical French sword. Kawamori seems to have a mythical sword thing going at the moment. Graham
  24. I'm hopeful that the VF-17S/D in MTF will finally have a correct shell firing gunpod, as per the anime. The attached picture from the official MTF website shows the VF-17S with the icon for a standard shell firing gun pod. I fired up MUF on the PSP this morning to check what gun icon is used for the VF-17D/S and it is a different beamgun icon. Graham
