Finally broke down and got myself a YF-19 DX Full Set yesterday. I'd neglected to buy it when it was originally released and only had a VF-19 ADVANCE.

Although I got my Gold Book decades ago, it only came with a poster, not a film strip.😓

Hmm.......given the rumors about the pending launch of the Switch 2, which have been circulating on social media in the last week or two, I'm wondering if I should hold off on pre-ordering Macross Shooting Insite for the Switch? At least until there is more information about whether Switch games will be backwards compatible with the Switch 2, which as far as I know has not yet been confirmed. I mean it's not a big issue for me about being able to play Macross Shooting Insite. I already have the Japanese version of Macross Shooting Insite pre-ordered for the PS4 and I'll also get the international version for the PS4, so I can still play it on my PS4 at home. But, at least until I heard the news about the Switch 2, I was planning to buy a Switch OLED, mainly for playing Macross Shooting Insight while commuting to and from work and also for playing some air combat games while commuting also. But if it turns out that Switch games are not compatible with the Switch 2, effectively rendering the Switch a dead platform, I'm now having second thoughts about buying it.

I think I have a VF-31AX Hayate fighter mode obsession. 😅 So far I have 4x VF-31AX Hayate, displayed as: 1x in Fighter mode. 1x in Fighter mode with Super Packs. 1x in Fighter mode with Armored Pack. 1x in Fighter mode with Super Ghost set. I just absolutely love how the VF-31AX looks in Fighter mode. I also have: 1x VF-31AX Mirage type in Fighter mode. 1x VF-31AX Bogue type in GERWALK mode. If Bandai ever release the Arad and Chuck VF-31AX, I'm definitely getting 2 of each and displaying one in Fighter mode and one in Battroid mode.

Whenever in the timeline this series is based, I'm super excited to see the new VF designs.

It's probably a longshot, but I'm hoping we get more VFs for this game as DLC.

I never used to like the HMR line, but have recently gotten into them in a big way and been expanding my HMR collection and really started appreciating them. The good thing is can fit far more of them on a shelf compared to 1/60 or 1/48 toys. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming VF-19 Fire Valkyrie HMR that has been teased. Also, as a big Macross 7 fan I'm hoping eventually for more Macross 7 HMR toys, especially a VF-17D/S and VF-11C, although I realise that's probably a long shot. But my current Holy Grail for an HMR would by the DYRL type Nousjadeul-Ger. As a huge DYRL fan I've wanted a toy of that for sooooooo long.

Yeah, these reissue pin point punch effects really look like 2 fried eggs. I think I will never use them when I get the toy. Wish it came with missiles instead.

At my age (nearly 54), I kinda feel embarrassed to wear most anime related clothing, especially the jackets posted in this thread, However, I would wear both these T-shirts.

Started putting my HG YF-29 kit together at the weekend. Just doing a simple build, no paint, no panel lining, just snap it together and slap the stickers on. Got the battroid mode head, torso, groin arms and legs built so far. It's actually a fun little kit to build and although the YF-29 is actually one of my least favorite Valk designs, I've gotta say the kit actually looks pretty good so far.

I only have one HMR CF VF-1A that I picked up last week. 😅 I love that it comes with the DYRL green flight suit pilot

Unless auditions have already been done in secrecy. Or.......they are going to break tradition and not have idol singer or band this time. Doubtful I know as the music usually sells really well. Or, they are going to bring back existing an singer, so no need an audition.

It's unknown at this stage, but my guess is going to be no. But being a scrolling shoot-em-up game, I doubt the game will have complicated controls or menu system, so likely the Japanese version will not be difficult to figure out. But personally, I planning to buy both the Japanese version and the international release.

Gonna get one. As my old one yellowed, so I threw it out. But I really hope they have improved the removeable wing peg and the black triangles. Overall, I remember being incredibly excited for the VF-171 toys when they were first announced, and then being extremely frustrated with all the issues that the toys had once they were released. And yes, we need a reissue of the Ozma VF-25S and Armored Pack.

From all the photos I've seen so far of the Threezero VF-1J, the large chest vents and weird head sculpt just don't do it for me, so I don't think I'm going to be picking one up. Happy enough at the moment with the Bandai DX and HMR for my VF-1 needs. I even got rid of most of my old Yamato 1/48 and 1/60 v2 in the last few years as most of the ones with white plastic had yellowed to some degree.

Hoping that on this release they may finally have changed the tab design so that the arms and legs lock more securely in place in fighter mode. But I'm probably expecting way too much. 😅
