  1. That's an old CAD, already discussed with Yamato about 1.t5 to 2 months ago and the second port has already been removed. Don't worry. Graham
  2. I've been looking for it for weeks now, believe me, but I can't find it anywhere, not even on ebay. Graham
  3. Here's some photos of my NERF gun collection, minus my Barricade, which I completely forgot about (guess that shows how I feel about the Barricade) The 35rd drum, yellow Raider stock (on my Alpha Trooper)and 18rd straight mag and 2nd 18rd drum were purchased from ebay. My favorite is the Alpha Trooper. Graham
  4. To be honest, I didn't really notice much 3D effect with Transformers 3 either. Sure there was some extra visual depth, but I didn't notice any stuff flying out of the screen. Not that I care, as I hate 3D in cinemas and wish it would hurry up and die. Graham
  5. Only if the present or next administration changes it's stance on NASA and space exploration. The way things are going it's all in the hands of the private sector now. Personally, I've given up of seeing a man on the moon again in my lifetime, let alone on Mars. Graham
  6. Zero interest in seeing an origins story again, but I'll probably end up seeing it as my 7 year old has just gotten into Spiderman, so he'll probably want to see it when it's released. Graham
  7. Still holding out hopes for a full PSV game later. Don't really want to buy a PS3 unless I really have to Graham
  8. Some paint chipping on the red paint on both shoulder blocks after 3 transformations, can see the bare diecast now Wish the wings locked into the legs a bit more securely in fighter mode. Otherwise, apart from the damn shoulder armor, which falls off multiple times every time I transform to fighter mode, I'm reasonably happy with the toy. Graham
  9. Only took mine out of the box for the first time last night, as I've been in Greece and UK on vacation since the day after the toy was released and just came back. So far after one evening of handling it, the joints are still tight Probably will leave it in fighter mode and won't buy multiples. Graham
  10. Not saying it's a bad toy, it's actually quite good and a big improvement on the V1 VF-25. I do find it a but fiddly and frustrating to transform back to fighter mode though. However, the fit, finish and ease of transformation of the VF-19 impressed me far more than the YF-29. Graham
  11. Finally got to handle mine last night after coming back from holiday. After all the hype and photos, I was expecting some sort of uber-toy, but actually ended up being a bit disappointed by it. Pros: 1) Transformation from fighter to Gerwalk and battroid modes easy. Transformation back to fighter mode frustrating though. 2) Looks good in fighter and gerwalk modes, but a bit busy-looking in battroid mode for my taste. 3) Locks together reasonably well in fighter mode, but not as securely as Yamato's VF-19. 4) Good 'A-stance' in gerwalk mode. 5) Good level of surface detail. Cons: 1) No lock on the front and rear landing gears. 2) No molded-in detail in the landing gear bays. 3) Maybe just the color, but the plastic seems more toy-like and cheaper, compared to Yamato's VF-19. 4) Transformation back to fighter mode was extremely frustrating. The fecking shoulder armor kept popping off when I tried to get the arms back into place and was extremely difficult to get back in place. Maybe it's because I'm tired and jet-lagged, but there were a couple of times last night, where I nearly ended up throwing the toy at the wall in frustration. When a toy is that frustrating it ceases to be fun. 5) Leg missile bay covers kept coming off when I opened them. Maybe I'll like it more when I play with it when not so tired. Graham
  12. That's what she said last night Graham
  13. Trust, me as I have a whole buncha pics of the prototype, it is the S first. Graham
  14. Do the YF-29's wings lock in position at the hinges in battroid mode, or do the flop around like the V1 VF-25? Graham
  15. I think I may have to send the remaining shoulders to someone else to distribute. Work and personal life had been crazy busy the last year. Anybody want to take on the responsibility, let me know. Graham, currently on vacation in Corfu.
  16. Hope we get V2 Tornado/Armoured/Super Packs as a 3 in 1 retail set, not a web exclusive. Actually I could live without the Super Pack, never really liked the design, but love the Tornado and Armoured Pack. Graham
  17. Just managed to buy it in Sino Center Animate for HK$1,680. They had at least one more remaining. No poster, but I don't care about that anyway. But flying in a few hours for a 3 week vacation, so no time to play with it until I return. Graham .
  18. Looks great in that review, except for the angled front landing gear I hope that's just the reviewer's mistake. Graham
  19. crap, crap and double crap ;( YF-29 just arrived at Oriental 188 Centre, but each toy shop only getting 2pcs and all already reserved for preorder customers. No time to go to Mong Kok to hunt tonight. Graham
  20. Not in 188 Center, Wanchai this lunchtime Graham
  21. They are aiming for end of the year, but it will still likely end up being in Q1 2012. No reaction missile bays confirmed. I was told that if they had sacrificed the rear landing gear, they may have been able to fit the bays, but there is just not enough room in 1/60 scale to fit everything. Graham
  22. S, thought I'd mentioned earlier in the thread. Graham
  23. I've also had the 18rd drum hang a couple of times in the same way. No biggie, it works will enough most of the time and to be honest, I'm surprised that for a toy drum magazine firing soft foam darts, it works as well as it does! Anyway, it's good for practicing stoppage drills. Graham
  24. No intention to sticker mine either. Like the out of the box anime look too much. Graham
