  1. Sigh..........do we have to go through this with each, new release. Photos are of a painted resin sculp, so of course fit & finish does not look great and why blocks are needed for support. Graham
  2. That's about as slim as you can keep fighter mode and still keep a decent n chunky-ish looking battroid mode. It's still miles slimmer than the Bandai 1/65 DX.Graham
  3. And just because it's not shown in that single Gerwalk mode photo, doesn't mean the lower legs can't bend forward. Ahem........pull lower leg down to extend knee joint & bend forward, as required
  4. But the VF-17's trademark and destinctive Gerwalk mode is supposed to be like that. Graham
  5. VF-11B and C didn't sell too well. Likely no more releases and no armour set due to poor sales of the base mecha Graham
  6. I think this discussion is over. It's obvious that only a very few people (vocal minority?) ever really had a problem with it. Not going to bring up with Yamato in this instance. Graham
  7. I agree, the VF-25F looks better naked, although I also like the Tornado pack. I've personally never liked the look of the Super Packs. Also agree that the Armoured Ozma is a different story, that looks awesome. Will also check Mong Kok tomorrow. Graham
  8. LOL, that is way cool. Graham One of the many weight saving measures they had to make I guess. Graham
  9. I wonder when it will hit HK shops, as we often get Bandai toys a few days before the official release date. Graham
  10. I want a Mclane and Putin team up, that would be cool! Graham
  11. Friend who is a fan of the original saw it yesterday, gave it the thumbs down. Rental or download material only. he said. Graham
  12. IMO, the only good Die Hard was the first one, bit like Highlander and Robocop really! I don't waste my time with the sequels. Graham
  13. Looking forward to this. Graham
  14. Ditto, was very disappointed when I found out that it wasn't about the Colt 1911 and John Moses Browning Graham
  15. This mook, "Macross Mechanics 01" that came out at the end of September seems to have come in under the radar. http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4798602760/ref=pe_2102_26547942_snp_explore Apologies if it's been mentioned already. Just saw it on Amazon JP and ordered it. Seems to be a Macross model book from Hobby Japan. Graham
  16. Glad they finally got the gunpod shae and proportions right. Graham
  17. Enjoyed this epoisode. Nice to see a lot more of Commander Wolfe and his troopers and enjoyed seeing how strict and impatient Wolfe was and how his attitude rubbed off on his troopers, in the way they treated C3PO. Graham
  18. Hmm.......wish Bandai would announce whether the super and armoured packs are going to be bundles or stand alone web-exclusives. If they are going to be bundles, I will hold off getting the original first releases of the naked (bare) V2s. Graham
  19. Don't worry, the new gunpod is fine. Graham
  20. Several of my CM's Macross figures, most notibly the standing and Q-Rau cockpit Milia figures are now very tacky and sticky to the touch. In fact the paint on the Standing Milia figure has started coming off (adhering to) the WQ-rau it was leaning against Graham
  21. The VF-19S/F/Kai/P carries the gunpod on the underside, same as YF-19. You are thinking of the VF-17S/D, which carries the gun internally in the leg, or the VF-22S, which carries two gunpods in the leg bay panels. Graham
  22. Would much rather have a VF-5000B than a VF-5000G. Graham
