Back in the day, over the decades I spent so much time playing Scrambled Valkyrie, VF-X, VF-X2, VF-X2 Special Edition, DYRL, VO, M3, Macross Plus Game Edition, Macross Ace Frontier, Macross Ultimate Frontier, Macross Triangle Frontier, Macross Last Frontier and M30 (I'm sure there's a few other games I've forgot as well). Still have the games, but Unfortunately, my Nintendo Super Famicon, PS1, Saturn, PS2 and PSP are all long gone or died years ago. My PS3 is just about hanging on, but starting to glitch. So yeah, I'm just happy there is a new Macross game coming out for the PS4/PS5 and Switch. Yeah, I'd prefer a proper air combat simulator type game, but I'll take whatever I can get. 😅

While, I'd love an Ace Combat type Macross game, we may be waiting a loooooooooong time, if ever. So I'm just happy we are getting any Macross game.

No, the Super Ghosts do not have landing gear. So, yeah stand only or attached to 31AX.

I just had a quick look this morning, before heading off to work and it doesn't seem that there is enough room to fit the main boosters on the under-wing hard points, if you already have the Super Ghosts attached to the mid-wing hard point. Those Super Pack main boosters are pretty damn large.

In my opinion Baylan, Shin and Anakin were the only good things about the show. Overall I'd give it a 3.5/10. I found live-action Sabine and Hera pretty insufferable. And sorry, as a big fan of Clone Wars and Rebels, I just don't think Rosario Dawson does a good job of portraying Ahsoka. For my Ahsoka and Sabine fix, I'll stick to Clone Wars & Rebels. It's such a pity Ray Stevenson passed away. I would have loved to see more of him as Baylan.

Hmm........interesting question. As Twitch mentioned. both the main boosters and Super Ghosts are supposed to attach to the hidden hard point where the wings fold, so you can attach one but not both at the same time. However, I haven't checked if the main boosters can connect to the underwing hardpoints. I'll have to try. If yes, it may be possible to have the main boosters mounted under the wings and the Super Ghosts on the wing fold hard point. However, the main booster are pretty damn large, so even if they can plug into the under wing hardpoints, there may not be enough space for the main boosters when the wings are partially folded to attach the Super Ghosts.

Frontier had really awesome BGM and songs. While Delta doesn't really have much BGM, the songs have really grown on me. As far as the Delta anime goes though 100% prefer the 2 Delta movies to the TV series. -

I never could really get into the instrumental music of Zero. But Frontier has some absolutely awesome instrumental BGM tracks, especially on the Macross Frontier OST 1 CD, including Private Army, Alto's Theme, Tally Ho and The Target. -

Errr.........yeah, no! Putting aside how inaccurate the battroid mode looks for the moment, this has to be one of the worst looking VF-1 fighter modes ever made in toy form. I mean, seriously what were they smoking when they designed this!!!!

Got the VF-25G yesterday. Only minor complaint is that are the shoulder ball joints are a bit loose. Otherwise looks great. I just wish they had included the wing-mounted speakers and little standing Ranka figure.

Wow, that's a blast from the far past. And highly collectable now. I used to have the SHE YF-21 and YF-19 back in the day, no idea what happened to them. They were great for their time (pre-Yamato), but to be honest look a bit dated now.

0080 is one of the best UC timeline OVAs and IMO ranks up there with 0080MST and 0083 Stardust Memory. But I'm a huge fan of 70s, 80 and 90s UC era anime.

Watched that review this morning. While I know that the VF-31AX Kairos Plus series has some fitment issues in fighter mode, I still actually prefer the appearance of the 31AX toys overall to the VF-31 Siegfried series. And fighter mode is my favorite mode. 4 out of 5 of my VF-31AX are displayed in fighter mode, as I just love the look of the 31AX in fighter mode. I also like that in-universe, the Kairos Plus is more of a pure combat fighter, with increased firepower compared to the Siegfrieds, which were more airshow/Walkure support with a reduced/limited combat capability. I'm also quite a big fan of the Zettai Live movie.

I'm still on the fence about picking up one of these. Cons for me are: Head sculpt looks off. Chest vents look too large. Its 1/72 scale, so doesn't match with the rest of my collection which is all 1/100, 1/60 and 1/48. Black panel lines look a bit thick and heavy. Some of the hinges look a bit ugly. Its Robotech branded. I may still pick one up, just to try, but will likely wait for the VF-1S.

I've gotta say from my previous time with the VF-19 ADVANCE years ago, I'd forgotten how much I hate attaching the FAST packs in fighter mode on the Bandai DX 19 series. It is not an enjoyable experience. Last night it took me about 1 hour to get the FAST Packs attached with everything lined up and pegged in properly on the DX YF-19 in Fighter mode. Those bloody small FAST Pack parts that go on the back of the legs popped off so many times I nearly threw the toy at the wall in frustration. And I still really hate the way that Bandai implemented the leg FAST packs, with the wing peg on the top of the wing just hanging out and not tabbed into anything. If Bandai later release a separate FAST Pack set for the upcoming YF-19 DX release, I'm hoping they have been redesigned.
