  1. Personally, I love my anime-accurate Milia VF-22S, although I've never transformed it from fighter mode, so no idea if it suffers from the missing knee caps, as some members found. Both my Max and Milia VF-22S stay permanently in fighter mode. Graham
  2. I didn't notice that, I'll have to check my toy and the manual. Now where's that panic button pic when you need it? LOL! Graham Agree, the VF-19Kai has superb design and engineering. Yet to be bettered IMO! Graham
  3. It's a promising sign that Namco-Bandai and Artdink are signed up as PSVita game developers. http://i.joystiq.com...ita-developers/ Graham
  4. Yes. Graham Yes, it's a great toy. IMO, engineering, design and quality-wise, near parity (98%) with the Yamato VF-19Kai, Basically, it's the VF-25F toy that Bandai should have made all along. Graham
  5. Changes from time to time. Currently a joint tie between the Yamato 1/60 VF-19Kai and the Bandai 1/60 v.2 VF-25F. In the past it has been: Yamato 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru with Strike Packs. Yamato 1/60 VF-11B. Yamato 1/60 VF-0S. Bandai 1/65 VF-17D DX. Bandai 1/55 VF-1S Hikaru Strike Valk. Graham
  6. Just picked up a second one for HK$1,248 at a shop on 2/F Oriental 188 Center, Wanchai. Box was a bit dinged up on one corner, but I don't care about the box. Checked the toy, was in perfect condition. The storekeeper had at least 3 more I. Stock. Graham
  7. Yes, they do angle out. I also angled them out in my pics. Graham
  8. Yep, I love the tighter, non-saggy ones that can pull off erotic, err...............exotic posses Graham
  9. Nice to see that the toy has nice deep slots in the forearms, for proper and secure attachment of the Armoured/Super arm packs. Graham
  10. But yeah, in over 20 years of toy collecting, I've gradually realized 4 important things: 1) Toys are for playing with and enjoying, don't be so anal about keeping them in mint condition. 2) Expect the inevitability of a few dings, scratches, scrapes, breakages and yellowing. 3) If you want to delay yellowing (you can't avoid it, a bit like death & taxes), keep your toys out of direct sunlight and in a temperature and humidity controlled environment, if you live in a hot and humid country like I do. 4) Yamato toys break more easily than Bandai toys, but Bandai toys yellow far more quickly Graham
  11. Even keeping them in their boxes doesn't always work. I've had a Bandai V Gundum toy and a Bandai v.1 1/60 VF-25F Alto go yellow in the box, despite never having taken them out of the box before. Best bet, seal them in amber..........LOL! Graham
  12. A few more quick pics, this time snapped using my phone camera. For those asking, the toy has a gloss finish. Graham
  13. Bit disappointed that the player doesn't use the Tornado pack's twin beam cannons in the video. I would have liked to see them. I use them all the time in MTF, when using the Tornado Pack. Graham
  14. I like 'em naked too Graham
  15. Ok, just transformed it to battroid mode for the first time. Transformation is a snap and only took a couple of minutes. Certainly much easier than that pain-in-the-ass YF-29 to transform Make sure to read the instructions though, as there are a couple of places you could get caught out: 1) Pull the gunpod handle (pistol grip) down first though before extending and opening the gunpod barrel cocver. Pulling down the handle unlocks the gunpod. If you don't and try to force uopen the gunpod, you may break it. 2) Also, as per the instructions, make sure to angle the shoulder plates back and downwards, as this sets up the correct backplate postion to lock the neck-peice in place. Anyway, a few quick snaps attached again. Really need a new camera, my 7 year old Canon IXUs 750 camera is really showing it's age . Heck, I should probably use the 8MP camera on my Galaxy S2, as it's far superior to my old Canon. Graham
  16. A few quick snaps of fighter mode on the stand. Graham
  17. Took mine out of the box last night. It's absolutely beautiful. This is the VF-25 toy that we should have had all along. I haven't even transfomed it yet, just been marvelling at the beauty of it in fighter mode. The molding and detail is so crisp and precise compared with the v.1. Will try first transformation later today. Graham
  18. Watched the DVD last night. No idea what was being said, but visually a very trippy movie. Still hasn't made me like the YF-29 design though. Can't wait for some subs. Graham
  19. Hahahahaha! Up yours Gundam, indeed! Graham
  20. Just bought mine in a shop in Fanling Center, Fanling. They only had one. Price was HK$1,380. Graham
  21. Mine still does nothing for me. Really not into the design and the fuggin' shoulder armour still pisses me off. See if I like it more after watching the movie. If not, may sell mine. Graham
  22. Wow, super quick service from Amazon JP! I only placed my order for the DVD last week, but when I got home from work last night, there is was sitting on my table at home waiting for me Can't believe it arrived on the same day it was released. Orders from Japan usually take 3-4 days to reach Hong Kong. And the DVD came with a film strip which surprized me. I thought it was only the Blu-ray disks that had the film strip. I remember my DVD of the first movie didn't include a film strip. Anyway, my filmstrip is (I think) a Vajra head). No chance to watch it yet, will do so at the weekend. Graham
  23. I also agree. Some discussion and/or clarification is sometimes warranted on new news items. Graham
  24. Finally got around to start watching Black Lagoon. Just about to watch episode 4. Enjoyed eps 1-3. Graham
  25. Yeah, also been checking Yahoo Japan Auctions every hour and still nothing Graham
