  1. LOL! Trailers for trailers. Now I've seen it all (or haven't, as the case may be) Errr.....?!?! But yes, I'm gonna wait until the full trailer comes out. Graham
  2. May'n in heat.....LOL yummy! Graham
  3. No comments from anybody yet, as it already opened a few days ago (well it did here anyway, dunno about the US). Graham
  4. The 1:1 VF-25 is interesting, but I find myself quite unexcited by all the other 30th anniversery activities announced so far. I mean a stage musical and a Miss Macross contest.....yawn! I was hoping for an announcement of at least a new OVA. Graham
  5. We should get some t-shirt shirts printed with "I survived the great Bandai VF-171EX preorder fiasco of 2012" LOL! Graham
  6. That's quite a nice mecha design. I'd probably by that toy. It's rare for a non-Japanese design team to actually be able to design nice looking Japanese style mecha. Graham
  7. I got 3 pre-orders in with 3 different shops (Anime-Export, iShop2Go and HLJ), so hopefully, I'll get all 3, or at least 1. Call me greedy, but I really want multiples of this. Graham
  8. To be fair, the VF-25S can still be found here in HK and I understand iShop2Go is a HK shop. I've placed an order with them for the VF-171EX, so let's see what happens. Graham
  9. Pre-order placed with 3 current sites. Cross fingers can get all 3.
  10. Well, it's either go to BW for the license and sell in Japan only (is Lego even popular in Japan.....no idea????). Or go and deal with HG............ Graham
  11. Currently listening to Talking Heads, INXS, T-Rex, Donovan and Diamond Head. Graham
  12. Err, I wonder if Lego know about the licensing issue with Macross? Graham
  13. Heck, they are fragile just picking up the toy! Graham
  14. Didn't really like the 2009 movie. Thought that it was a bit silly that a Romulan mining vessel could so easily destroy Federation Warships, even if it was from 129 years in the future, it was still just a frackin' mining vessel. Graham
  15. You can see the rear landing gear doors in this pic. Graham
  16. Upgraded Gollum in a Macross context - Hmm.......does that mean Gollum with FAST Packs........LOL! Graham
  17. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Graham
  18. That's not Bruce Banner. Look at the posters, it's clearly Julian Assange! Graham
  19. I wonder if it is by Tenjin. Graham
  20. Maybe HK got all the renewal VF-25F then. When it was first released you could barely move without tripping over the things. Well, not quite that bad, but nearly........LOL!
  21. Regarding retail sale in Hong Kong: For those unlucky peoiple like me, who didn't pre-order. the YF-29 first issue was only available in a few stores in HK, such as Animate and sold out almost immeadiately. When the VF-25F renewal was lauched, it was widely available in large quantities in a great many toy and hobby stores initially at or near Japanese retail price and sat on shelves for several moths after release. It is only recently that it is starting to become a bit harder to find and those shops that have remaining stock have bumped up the price. It seems a smaller quantity of the VF-25S Renewal was imported into Hong Kong and fewer stores carried it. Those that did charged a price much higher than the Japanese recommended retail price. Graham
  22. What's a "Bieber"? Isn't that some sort of STD........LOL! Graham
  23. As opposed to the evil American Steve Jobs.....LOL Graham
  24. Actually, I think Macross is one of the few mecha animes where the mecha (VFs) actually look good in CG. Graham
  25. The Red Bull air races are extremely popular and great fun to watch. Last time I was back in UK, they seemed to be on TV really frequently. Graham
