Seem to recall we have had this discussion more than a few times over the years. Personally, I'd say no. The original is a classic and should be left alone, warts and all. I'd much rather see a new Macross series or OVA rather than remaking the original. Graham

Has anyone considered making a fan made Macross Game?
Graham replied to leading edge's topic in Games
I'd love a top down Macross scroller on my Android. Graham -
Yeah, IIRC I also paid about HK$1,140 when the VF-25F Renewal was first released. And although it's still pretty easy to find, price has gone up quite a bit. Graham

It was on at the cinemas here recently, but I passed, as it got promototed more as a juvenile/teen film for the Twilight crowd. Is that not the case then? Graham

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force

Nah, we had one member here also reporting a breakage of the diecast hip bar. Graham -
Yep, the bottom gallant pistol is the one that's missing. The figure, bike, Gallant rifle are all sealed under the top clear plastic tray. But not the Gallant pistol. For some weird reason the cut out for the Gallant pistol is on the external part of the clear top plastic tray with nothing covering it or holding it in. Graham

Had the game, sold it. I never bought a Wonderswan though. I also bought a Gameboy, just to play the Macross 7 game, but sold them as well. Graham -

Nope, no sign of it. I searched inside the book-box, in my bag, around my office desk, which is where I took the plastic tray out of the box and put it in my bag and no sign of the H90 pistol Stupidly, it seems that the cutout for the H90 pistol is on the outside of the plastic tray and not covered at all, making it easy for this part to fall out. Or really it was never there, as I don't remember seeing it when I first opened the flip cover of the book box Probably not much use to complain to the seller, as it was sealed and obviously mint and packed very well. Likely a factory packing error. Anyone wanna sell me a Toyname/Beagle H90 pistol? Graham

Blofeld, that you? Graham -
I'm well versed in the UC universe and first watched 0083 Stardust Memory on fansub VHS, many, many years ago (shortly after it was released). My favourite Gundam animes are: Char's Counter Attack, 0080 War in the Pocket, V-Gundam, 08th Mobile Suit Team, F-91 & Stardust Memory (despite the annoying whiny lead character). Just I've always felt Gundam lacks justification for giant humanoid mecha and it's giant robots just for the sake of giant robots. And yes, I find the combat and mecha in Macross more realistic than Gundam. However, Unicorn is nice eye candy. Graham

Haha, those are not series I like. Zeta sends me to sleep and I find Turn A unwatchable. Graham

So did I. And the Superfamicon and PS1 and Dreamcast and PS2. Graham -
A question, is the MPC Ray Cyclone supposed to come with both the rifle and pistol version of the Mars Gallant? I just took the inner plastic tray out of the book-box to fit it my bag for the journey home as the whole book is too big (and I hate those Toynami books) and I can only see the rifle version of the Gallant in the tray. From the pics I've seen online, I thought it came with both the pistol and rifle Gallant. Graham

Decide to give Unicorn a second chance. Before I was watching it on my old 20" CRT bedroom TV, but the version I watched had really tiny subs, that I could hardly read, so I gave up half way through episode 1. Know I'm watching a higher definition dubbed version on my phone while commuting and quite enjoying it. Still think the MS designs and combat are silly though, but that's just Gundam I guess. And the name of the Char look alike "Full Frontal" made me chuckle. I mean, really! Graham

Yep, just tried, working fine from my Android. But with an unlimited data plan and 4.3" screen, I still prefer viewing the full version, rather than the mobile version. Graham -
Well, my Masterpiece Ray, Cyclone just arrived at my office, so I'll be opening it tonight when I get home. And on another subject, really happy with my CM's green Legioss/Tread set. Definitely worth the HK$650 (US$84) I paid for it new. Graham

So am I right that none of the Toynami or Aoshima Legioss toys come with the black and white Invasion stripes painted or printed on the wings? Graham

If you make it for the Yamato 1/60 VF-11B toy, how are they going to attach? Have you also designed working attachment brackets? Graham

Mm, good point, the mobile version doesn't appear to be active anymore. Graham -
Don't look in on this thread much, but surprised it's still going. I didn't think there was anything left to discuss. Graham
