I'm mainly referring to the fact that characters like the Macross Zero villains and Sharon Apple are contemporary with the DYRL SDF-1 in this game.

I really doubt it, considering the presence of characters that are long since dead in the timeline.

With the Tornado pack, I believe so, but the Super Pack and Armored Pack restrict it to GERWALK and Battroid in the atmosphere.

Ace Frontier has the same color scheme system as Assault Horizon, the only difference being that most planes in AH have around five different sections to color, while the Macross games only have three. Keep hoping, it's never going to happen. Who exactly are they going to cater to by wasting time on translating, the miniscule importing fanbase?

No one posted that link, but someone already posted a direct link to the Famitsu page with those exact screenshots. Also, most SRW do a decent job when it comes to crossover stories. The Alpha series and Z series are particularly notable.

My computer can't even handle BMS Falcon, so I'm stuck with running Flaming Cliffs 2 on medium until I get a new rig.

Yes that's totally going to happen with the way the 360 has failed miserably in Japan. There's few companies I would trust to make a Macross game other than Artdink lately besides From Software. There have been countless developers for Gundam games and most of them have turned out to be horrible.

It still has stupid "press X to cobra" maneuvers, so I have no interest.

The line for the second signing was enormous, so unfortunately I didn't get to go. I did however manage to pick up a copy of Kazutaka Miyatake's Macross & Orguss Design Works in the merchandise dealer room. I also saw Yamato VF-1Js, SV-51s, and a Fire Valkyrie there, but didn't want to go too far past my self-imposed budget for the trip. Oh well, there's always next year.

They're sure as hell not going to put it on the 360, and the PSP seems to be the dominant handheld in terms of mecha games.

The complete version of Electrosphere is probably one of my favorites in the series, topped only by Shattered Skies. -
