Agreed for a vf-25 v.2. They need to design it along with the different packs at the same time and test fit them before they even release 1 vf. Anyway, after further observation and transforming my 25s a piece of the swing bar broke. Looking carefully there were alot of cracks and clean breaks. The pic below shows the stressed joints in yellow and the clean breaks are in red. I spent the night taking it apart and trying to super glue them, but the tension of these joints were too much for super glue to handle. Had to go with epoxy which is what looks like the black goop on the pic. I didn't sand them down much for thicker support. So far now everything is holding. Funny thing is I've transformed my other vf-25' alot more and they're all fine. I'm not being a hater, I still like these toys, but knowing that they can do better, no more dx-25 toys until a v.2 comes out....if ever. (they have to sell something for movie 2, right?)

quick P.S.A. Found these cracks on the wing hinges on my armored 25s. It's been on display in armored fighter mode for months. I think they got stressed being pegged into the leg armor. I say "cracked" instead of stressed because I can run my fingernail across the long one and can feel the plastic on different levels. The underside of the plastic is fine though. Hope mine is just a fluke and all yours' is fine. It's not too serious and still workable.

Its a great toy and puts the 25 to shame. The gerwalk engineering still needs a lot of work. Yamato's design for a valk's hips to feet are so simple and perfect. Only othet gripe is the shiny plastic (I think that will never change ) ...and not so much a gripe but it seems small, but maybe it's the true scale... I dunno.

Here's a pilot size comparison if anyone was interested. various "1/60" pilots. I had a hard time opening the cockpit and nobody want's to scratch it, right? Slip a corner of a piece of paper in there and it should give and pop open easily.

What happened to this? Any updates?

Maybe it doesn't have the waist joint in exchange for the longer landing gear.

No its the same. Its the same lock on the valk. Its not loose tho...for now.

Just got mine. It looks exactly like in the pictures. Blue/greenish tint. Can't take comparison pics atm. *edit The intake armor now has an extra piece inside that Holds on better when attached. Actually all the armor Stays on nicely even if bumped. The gun is darker too. The shoulders on the valk are not overly tight but still tight Out the box. I'm sure a few tranformations will change all that.

After some time now, the tint on my roy 1s has started to crack. If I touch it, it will start to peel. Curious to see if the tint will last on the others. Also my valks are never in direct sunlight. So far all limbs are still fine.

yep, the nose cone looks more like the 1/72 vf-25 which makes a huge difference. The down curve of the dx 25 makes it look weird in certain angles.

Also, Graham, "assembly required" is nothing new so if it helps to break things up to be affordable for the mass prod' sdf, I'm sure no one would have a problem using a screw driver.

Waiting for anime-export to ship my ve-1 still. Everything is already paid for and kinda left in the dark if they even have it in stock or waiting for stock, I don't know. No one has responded to my emails. If its not in stock and they're waiting, that's fine, I just want to guess an ETA so I know when to be home.

Hmm if I were a competitor, it would be a good time to swoop in on this missed oppurtunity.

Sadly none of the DX figs have the trim. The back part of the 25-S's leg should be the lighter grey also, but....guess that's just how it goes.

The replacement parts might be the super parts for ozma. They painted the Hip armor wrong but if he said 25g. ... never heard of it having a problem other Than different colored plastics and a striped missing on the swing bar.
