That was one of the reasons I liked FF VIII.... The draw system wasn't too tedious, provided you kept your magic power high and used the refining system efficiently... As a treehugger, I loved the eco-terrorism thing going on in VII... VIII was fun enough, and I enjoyed FF X well enough... enough to buy the sequel, at least. FF IX is the only FF that I didn't finish... just didn't get into the story enough... and didn't connect with the characters well enough.

Mmmm... personally, I prefer the original Soul Edge sound set. Love the Khan Super Sessions....

I've come close to buying the Takatoys stickers any number of times, but always held off.... Frankly, I'd much rather have waterslide decals.... maybe anasazi37 will come on and comment... or maybe I'll just PM him....

Oh god yes. These things are the best toys I've ever seen of the VF-1... Maybe not as robust as the chunky monkeys, but still pretty damn playworthy. Hell, even if you just display them, they are still some of the best looking Valkyries around. Worth every penny....

TOS is the best, hands down. I also appear to be one of the few sucks to like Enterprise, though I admit the latest run has been a bit... lackluster, shall we say.... Kirk, Spock, and McCoy just can't be beat, though. Star Trek: TOS has been a part of my upbringing, right up there with Star Wars... hell, I learned how to read with the Star Trek Log series....

The FP version, which it seems he has, has much sturdier hips. I haven't heard of anyone having hip problems with the FP release....

I'm not a big fan of Justice League, but Teen Titans is one of the shows I actively try to catch on the weekends... At first the anime thing was kind of irritating, but it quickly grew on me. I love the way that the show emphasizes the character relationships more than the fight of the week.... Totally Spies was another show that kinda just grew on me.... love it now.

Damn, Yohsho beat me to it. Soul Calibur II is probably the best on GC, the special character, at least. I swear the AI isn't as sharp on the GC as on the Xbox, though.... I own the Xbox version, and have played the PS2 as well, but Link is probably the character that fits the best with the SC II lineup.

Heh heh... great to see other Queen fans on the board.... just look at my sig... Gigan, the chunky monkeys are about the toughest toys you'll find, especially for Macross. I'm sure you can break them, but you'll have to be actively trying.... Bandai Valks make great "play" toys.... the Yamatos are just too damn fragile for that. The 1/48s do it much better than the 1/60s, though...

Brutal, brutal show... it's one of those shows you probably ought to see once, but it's also one of those shows you probably won't want to watch often... I find it tremendously emotionally draining. It's about as honest as they come, though... but the girl getting... well, watch it, you'll see. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Does Kill Bill qualify as anime? I'd say no.....
