  1. And he is doing the same in the Rebels series. In other news: IT HAS BEGUN! Photo: Day One of ‘Star Wars 7′ Filming Begins "ND 6 bringing down two stops to a 5.6 stop. Probably long anamorphic lens on close up. 5.6 is a high stop for spherical lenses, but ok for slow anamorphics, especially if looking for more depth of field on close ups. If shooting on 200 ASA film stock, base exposure at 11 might indicate a lot of light and it’s an exterior. You’re welcome, nerds."
  2. Some news: Star Wars: Episode 7 Cast Members Oscar Isaac & Andy Serkis Interviews. Filming With Cast Members to Start at the End of May? Rumor: A Second Unit Star Wars Crew Had a Helicopter Incident in Iceland? Serkis says filming starts at the end of this month.
  3. See a few posts up. Again, obviously fake list is obviously fake.
  4. Just a heads up: I won't be posting anything that I consider to be spoilerish, because I don't want to read any spoilers to begin with. There are set descriptions from what they've been working on in Abu Dhabi out there, along with further reports as to the nature of Harrison Ford's role in Episode 7 which I am simply not touching. If you do want to share this material, please post it in spoiler tags.
  5. It appears that Star Wars 7 production is being hidden under the name "AVCO." It's named after a prominent theater in LA that showed the original Star Wars back in '77. This is similar to how the production of Return of the Jedi used the title Blue Harvest to mask filming activities.
  6. Emulation solves all these issues. It's 2014, not 1994.
  7. Wait, what? I'm not following your logic.
  8. Ugh, reminds me of the first season of TCW.
  9. Word popping up on all the film news sites is that there is one more role yet to be filled/announced, that being another female (long-rumored to be of some relation to Ben Kenobi).
  10. It is if you're a film nut. Max von Sydow, one of the great actors. You really should know who he is, lol. John Boyega established himself in Attack the Block Oscar Isaac has quickly made a name for himself in the past few years, appearing in such films as Drive and Inside Llewyn Davis. He's the real deal. Andy Serkis is Gollum/Smeagol in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Solid actor. Adam Driver has been in films like Lincoln and Inside Llewyn Davis, and is a regular on the HBO series Girls. He's feel like a bit of a wild card in this cast, and I am not sure what to expect from him. I don't know much about Domhnall Gleeson or Daisy Ridley.
