    For my money, the Captain America films are the best Marvel has to offer, and Chris Evans might be the most perfect casting for a superhero role I've ever seen. I'd be fine if all they made were Cap movies. I'm burning out on the Marvel movieverse (Gaurdians and Ultron didn't really click with me), but I'm jazzed for new Captain America movies.

    He had a say in it, then it was decided they wanted to go in another direction. This was post-sale. And P. L. Travers ended up having very little say in the making of Mary Poppins (despite how the Disney movie about it has tried to spin it), and she was actually quite upset with how the film turned out and furious at Disney for how she was treated.

    So, Dragon Quest XI has been announced for the PS4, and apparently they're remaking (or perhaps remastering) Final Fantasy XII.

    The epic Ian McShane has been cast in season 6. No word on his role. Most people are guessing Greyjoy or Tarly.

    Probably not, lol. It appears our show thread here is the only place on the internet that isn't talking about Jon's inevitable return.

    The only comic I own is the original U.S. Macross comic with Rick Yamato and company. Horrible looking stuff.

    I mean, they might as well have been walking down the street with Carice van Houten as well. It's funny, Kit Harington is the only person involved here who has really stuck his foot in his mouth. Everyone is saying he's dead--which he is, you can't resurrect a living person--but Kit is the only one who said he wouldn't be back in season six. At the very least he'd have to come back to play his dead body ( a la Charles Dance). At this point I'm convinced season six has to open with Bran having a vision of the Tower of Joy event (which we KNOW is coming this season). They need to make it very clear why Jon is important before they bring him back.

    It'll be released publicly--with completed FX--in the next 3 weeks.

    This sounds horrible. Thankfully, I doubt this reboot will go anywhere.

    So, it's a niche animated movie that is several years removed from being relevant on a pop-culture level? I can hear the whooshing of studio money being flushed down the toilet.

    Probably the only reason why I'd revisit this movie would be a director's cut. Oh well.
