So Snake now looks like Big Boss, missing eye and everything. Personally, I don't see either new DVD format going all that far. VHS had a good 15 to 20 years in it before the masses really turned over the VHS collections to get DVDs. Now that people are building up a rather nice DVD library, I can't imagine they'll be in a huge rush to buy everything all over again for a new format that most won't be able to tell the difference with. The PS3 will be the only Blu-ray player I'll have for quite some time. I've got over 100 DVDs, I'll be damned if I am going to buy them all over again in a new format when they look amazing as it is.

High on the cool factor. The more they deny working on a remake of FFVII for the PS3, the more it seems like they are. From the PS3 demo which was the entire opening sequence to FFVII, to the several flashbacks scenes which were total remakes of FFVII FMV scenes, I find it hard to believe that they aren't going to pop this one out on us. For me, this movie seemed like a really cool advertisement for the FFVII spin-offs coming out over the next several months, and probably a taste of a remake. It was worth watching. BTW, nice to see The Rock moving into CGI anime movie work.

I agree. And by the time the classic BSG theme started playing, I was all smiles. Man, that should be at the beginning of every episode. The lack of space combat scenes has become rather glaring at this point. That's not to take away from the show, its doing great on its own as simply a drama. But I am wondering, or perhaps hoping, that their money and resources are being saved and used specifically for the Pegasus episodes.

Of course, going by their terms for this sale, these discs might not even come with packaging, LOL.

I completely agree. Well, atleast until The Sopranos starts up again in the spring. I don't see there being too many more high profile "sleeper agents", you can only go back to the well so many times. What am I looking forward to? Well, we are almost half way through the second season, and they haven't come upon one human inhabited planet yet. Seeing how much of the original series they have incorporated into the new show, I would expect to see the same here.

I don't think the Pegasus will "go up". It'll probably disappear into deep space like in the original series. Leave you wondering. And they got out of the cave by removing the arrow from the statue. It was next to them on the field where they viewed the star map.

Only if Top2 was truly a sequel, which its not. Its a re-imaging. What happened in the original is irrelevant to this one.

Just when I began to have hope for the Baltar character, they blew it again. Otherwise, I enjoyed this episode. As usual, it goes by WAY too fast. Almost seems like a 20 minute show. And thank God Six put some clothes on. I was getting tired of seeing her anorexic ass.

As the CAG, Apollo has various duties outside of just flying a Viper. And as far as I can tell, Apollo and Starbuck are almost the only original pilots left. And its not exactly as if they have some young Max Jenius coming up through the ranks. Boomer, a Viper pilot in the original series, is, well, a Cylon. There's not alot of name "warriors" in this show.
