One of my friend's ex-boyfriends dropped $30,000 on 100 Xbox 360's to sell on eBay. I kid you not. I am waiting for the PS3 to come out next year. Sony employee price before the official release date, thank you very much!

I don't believe that first picture is by Tommy Yune. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but that pic is atleast 15 years old, if not older.

By "improved subtitles", I wonder if this means we'll see more literal, unreadable crap like the MOSPEADA translation was. I have my boxset, thanks.

Eset's NOD32. Kaspersky AV is hard core and top of the line, but even with a high end system, it will put a noticable strain on things. I wouldn't use AVG if you paid me.

My main on WoW is just about at 48, and I have two alts at 20. I've only been playing for a month and a half. Its a fun game, not the end all be all, but... I'm on the Kargath server, my main's name is *shock* Glavil!

The whole age thing is probably the most glaring and significant continuity error in the prequels. I'd say its the biggest mistake Lucas made, period. Episode I Anakin should have been the age of Episode II Anakin, and the same goes for Obi Wan. They are both 10 years too young by the time RotS ends. The other two biggest mistakes I think Lucas made were odd and misplaced dialog that was either uneeded or out of character, and his need to put all sorts of little special effects into important scenes that distract from the main action. Do we really need stuff like the lava droid flying by the action during the A/OW duel at the end of III? I for one consider Episode III to be all I need of the prequels at this point (it truly does have some great, classic Star Wars moments in it). I consider II to be a complete waste, but I do think Episode I has some good stuff in it. I think it just needs a good, strong editor to tighten it up. I dunno, the "Seven Samurai" template always seemed like a natural one for Lucas to follow for the prequels, and he didn't. I never understood that...

So I am not the only one who thinks the translation almost completely ruins the show. Well, that's good to know.

I've been watching the box set since getting it late last month, and well... I don't like MOSPEADA anywhere as much as I used to. The music, outside of the opening theme, is downright horrid. And the Inbit threating to "erase" our heros just doesn't sound all that threatening to me. Just how good is the translation, I wonder...

The new toy is, in a word: crap. Many of the edges are poorly cut, the posability is garbage. You'll never get it to look like it does in the pictures, it doesn't bend that way. He will not, under any circumstances, be able to stand up straight, or even reasonably close to it. However, he is quite good at doing the limbo.

Plenty of other big name directors have produced movies that flopped. Horribly. Understatement of the year.

Producing a movie means nothing. I don't see anything anyone could get excited over here. He isn't writing it, he isn't directing it.

Well, they are obviously setting up Cain and the Pegasus for a big redemtion scene. Let's hope they get one thing right with this, and leave it open ended as to the fate of the Pegasus afterwords.

The morning after, I wanted to add this... one of the reasons why the fans were clamoring for the Pegasus was because of the glory of it all in the original series. You wanted the Pegasus to make it, you wanted them to come out alive. And I believe the character of Cain would have been MUCH more effective if she were the living legend, a person who's Galactica's personel would have loved and adored no matter what she did. How could you question her, its the great Cain! They blew it, they absolutely ruined everything the character and the ship was to fans. And maybe its just me, but did anyone else get the feeling that there is alot more to the story of the Pegasus than we know yet? Personally, I'd wager Cain tucked tail and ran, it wasn't a matter of survival. I think she's a coward. She's covering something up.
