By the looks of things, I'd say they are more like Replicants. Bio-engineered beings. If any part of them were metal, they would be extremely easy to detect. And here we are again, back to human Cylons being alot like Replicants...

Dune Extended Version DVD in May
Duke Togo replied to Otaku-Smeghead's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You do realize that the original version of the movie is on one side, and the extended version is on the other? Its not one movie spanning two sides. Or MUST you have the movie logo on one side of the disc, so you can look at it while its spinning in your player... oh, never mind. 362296 Yes, I do realise, but I also realise that I hate flipping those damned double sided disc's, and they could have just as easily made it a 2 disc release. Just a personal preference. 362306 So, you don't like getting up and having to flip the disc (I guess you want to watch both versions back to back)... but you have no problem getting up and having to put in a second disc? You going OCD on us, Keith? -
These designs are fairly underwhelming. I've seen far superior work on Brickshelf.

The best part about that was that some people were convinced it was mine. -

I was under the impression he didn't want to be Bond anymore because he hated the scripts. -
"classic" Movies That You Piss On

Reading this thread, its no wonder horrid movies like "The Fast and the Furious" and "Resident Evil" make money... To quote that immortal line from Lee Donowitz, "I've got more taste in my penis." -
The answer is very simple: There are games out there that simply don't support 16:9 screens and resolutions. Yes, even some of the newer games. As ar as I know, there is no fix for this. Also, you'll find games that don't support dual core processors (though there is an easy work around for this) and SLI setups.

So, lemme get this straight... "Muh-cross" actually made it into the final product? That's disgraceful.
-
I highly doubt they left expensive CGI shots on the cutting room floor when they are already on a tight budget.
-
The show certainly has you wanting to come back for more every week.
-
No, the real Six clearly states in that scene that their one true God is a forgiving God (which goes against what imagined Six says).

I didn't get the whole Apollo thing. That was out of nowhere. Loved the Battlestars smoking the Basestars. The whole thing with Cain ended up very anti-dramatic. Leaves me feeling indifferent. No redemption for her character, and no sense of loss, cause, well... no one liked her. She just didn't affect the fans like the original Cain did. Baltar, well... can we now assume Six was simply a product of a man losing his mind? There was something very "A Beautiful Mind" about the scene when Six disappears. And am I the only one getting a "Replicant" vibe from the Cylons? Created by man, no history, no past, no sense of self... but longing for some meaning to life, looking for their own identity. And I am also getting a Catholic/Protestant feel for what seems to be two different Cylon factions. One thinks God forgives all, the other thinks God punishes if you don't repent. And the exposure to humans (and their culture??), well... certainly not cut and dry for them, is it?
-
This is only a horror if you are one of the unfortunate few actually go to se video game movies. The majority of humans on the planet, well... we simply don't care.

I don't find Six attractive at all.

I've never seen Friends.

The one thing you really need to keep in mind is that its not a sequel, its a re-imaging. Its still a homage piece, just of a different era of anime. -

Oh, by the way, that's not Starbuck pointing that gun at Cain...
-
I'm still torqued off how they have handled Cain. They took Cain from being a living legend to a war criminal. And, maybe I am wrong here, but can't the frigging PRESIDENT OF THE 12 COLONIES have some say over her own military? Yes, I know enforcing it is another matter, but come on. That said, I loved the episode. How can you not wannt to see more after that? Oh, and I still hate the Baltar character. Ship him off to the Cylons already. And the Blackbird is still hideous looking. My 8 year old brother could come up with a better design that that, and he's a moron.
