    We cast Robotech back when I was in high school, and it was far funnier than anything I've seen here. Emmanuel Lewis as Rick Hunter, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Lynn Minmay... Ah, I wish I could remember them all, comedy gold!

    Not to beat a dead horse, but HG and WB cannot legally make a Macross movie. To debate about it is pointless.

    I have to say, usually I avoid these comic book movies like the plague, but the trailer was fairly entertaining. Then again, it was only a trailer.

    They can't legally do that. Even if they thought they had a chance, they wouldn't push it because any legal challenges could potentially stall any movie permanently.

    This series doesn't have a "bad ending" feel to it.

    I haven't read any of this thread, but I think its pretty safe to say this movie won't have anything Macross related in it.

    I'm with UN on this one. Gurren Lagann makes you wanna go next door to see that ahole neighbor you have who lets his dog crap on your lawn, yell at him "Who the hell do you think I am!!", and punch his square in the face!
