  1. It'll be fansubbed and available for download within a few days of each airing, I would wager. Don't hold your breath on anything beyond that.
  2. QFT. Your silly helicopters are no match for the might of the Gurren Lagann Brigade!
  3. I would say, because none of this is real? Gurren Lagann kills them all. You lose, I win, go home and QQ in your bowl of cheerios.
  4. Could have sworn somewhere I read Megaroad 11. We've been having this discussion for so long, I can't even remember anymore. We need something like a single fact page for this thing.
  5. This fellow is an assclown.
  6. Is the Frontier the Megaroad class, or the Macross class? And that's definitely a Megaroad class leaving earth. That's the Macross in the background.
  7. Megaroad 11, which is the Frontier, no? Macross class is the Galaxy?
  8. So, lemme get this right... we have a series that takes place at an unknown date, post-2050, featuring the Megaroad 11? This thing has to have been wandering space for what, 30+ years?
  9. Wow, ok, I missed this. Totally. I'm sold. Ok, one thing, being a bit late to the party... only the Youtube version seems to be out and about. I can't find the original 11.2MB file of the trailer. Anyone download it from the site before it went down (they pulled it?)?
  10. Shinsen/Syndicate release doesn't seem to work with the CCCP codec pack.
  11. Actually, there seem to be several fansub releases out there. Atleast 3 groups that did the entire series.
  12. That is bad beyond words...
  13. As reported on TheForce.net:
  14. Man, I *stopped* posting there 6 years ago, LOL. And yes Keith, I was The Cat, CokaCola Cat, GodMars (and maybe a few more). Being a regular in the Yankees newsgroup meant I dealt with alot of trolls, which lead to a: having a really bad attitude on the usenet, and b: changing my name periodically to lessen the general harassment and outright stalking you'd receive for being a ASBNYY regular. I've had certain posters in my killfile for almost a decade now.
  15. I look at it like this: Its a Jedi/Sith MMO... if I can put a month aside to play *insert random PC or console game* when it comes out, I can do the same with this. I mean, just to experience it.
  16. I find your lack of faith disturbing. That, and your reasoning is totally lacking...
  17. I said the same thing before a friend talked me into playing WoW (after 6 months) back in Sept of '05. A year's worth of raiding 3 or 4 times a week wiped me out, and I don't really play much these days (my account is inactive right now), but at its best, its still worth every penny. MMO's have been steadily and strongly growing for the past decade, I imagine they'll only continue to get bigger. WoW has what, 9 million players now? Star Wars Jedi/Sith based MMO? Oh man, totally there, even if just to try it for one month.
  18. Current Build: 0.9b1
  19. (Several other gaming and Star Wars sites, including IGN and TheForce.net, are carrying this story as well) BioWare’s Upcoming MMO Based in KOTOR Universe By Alex Petraglia on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM EST A source close to BioWare confirmed to us today that the studio’s upcoming untitled massively-multiplayer online RPG will be centered around the Star Wars universe, specifically that of Knights of the Old Republic, which the developer released in 2003. The game garnered critical acclaim and spawned a less-popular sequel, released by Obsidian two years later. The game is being developed by the company’s Austin studio, formed in 2006 and headed by BioWare Creative Director James Ohlen, whose past credits include the first KOTOR, Neverwinter Nights, and Baldur Gate’s I and II. This is not the first Star Wars-related MMORPG: Star Wars Galaxies debuted in the summer of 2003, followed by several expansions. It was generally well-received by fans and critics, but subscriber numbers plunged and never recovered after a controversial gameplay update in 2005. It’s estimated that the game now has fewer than 100,000 subscribers and less than 20,000 active players. It’s currently unknown whether or not EA, which acquired BioWare last week, will act as publisher for this title, or if the studio had a previous arrangement with another publisher. Expect the game sometime in 2009. Editor’s Note - We’ve gotten several emails asking about the validity of this news. The only rumors we post here at Primotech will explicitly be stated as such.
  20. Star Trek? Star Wars is far more popular, and has far more posts dedicated to it. I think that needs to be changed!
  21. Official word is she's isn't some mystical force or a figment of anyone's imagination. She's fully alive and real.
  22. Awesome news, I'll be picking this up for sure.
  23. Ah, but Diebuster was only 1/10th as cool!
  24. You guys totally missed the hilarity of this guy in high school mocking Minmay singing "Stage fright, go away" with an Austrian accent.
