LOL, seriously, though, I thought it was a pretty decent review. Its almost more of a preview, really, sounds like he's only seen the first two episodes, and we only seven episodes in as it is. We'll see what people say when its all said and done.

I'm gonna chalk this one up to its no mistake that he is with the fleet. Way too much of a coincidence.

Here ya go: While you can not distinguish what exactly the insignia is in these shots, you can clearly see the circular shape on the tops of the wings.

We have several pictures of what looks to be the insignia on the tops of the wings posted in this thread. Seek and you shall find.

He says that he and director Steven Spielberg have left the door open for a sequel to "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." But that’s exactly the gamble Spielberg and Lucas took with reviving their icon. Expectation grows into a frenzy and then no one in that frame of mind can be satisfied. You already can see this with "Sex and the City: The Movie" and it hasn't even opened everywhere. Fans and even some critics want some transcendent experience. They almost seem upset that all they got was … "Sex and the City." Lucas has been here before, when he revived and extended the "Star Wars" series. The build-up to the release of the fourth installment (aka now Chapter 1), "Phantom Menace," was huge until it reached a fever pitch. Then, almost before it could be absorbed, "Phantom Menace" became the target of scorn from fanatics. Computer-generated character Jar Jar Binks was public enemy No. 1. But "Star Wars" continues to thrive. In August, Lucas says, he’s releasing an animated 90-minute "Star Wars" movie to theaters via Warner Bros. called "Clone Wars." It will be followed in September by an animated series on the Cartoon Network and TNT. "No one wanted it," he told me. "Every studio rejected it, including Fox, and I’m very loyal to them. They have right of first refusal. Eventually I brought it to Warners. It’s the first time that three components of the studio have acted together. It’s very exciting. Oh, yes, and by the way: If "Crystal Skull" breaks records when it opens on May 22, Lucas could wind up having his name on a fourth title in the all-time box office top 10 (it would be Spielberg’s second). "But these movies — the 'Indiana Jones' ones — were never big hits right away. They were always slow starters that built up to big numbers," Lucas insisted. I don’t think that will be the case with this one. And the notion that a sequel already is playing around in his head should only fuel the heady numbers about to be posted.

Once again, I have NO CLUE where they are going with this. If they somehow end up where they thought it was going by the end of the series, I'll be amazed. And is anyone else getting the feeling they're just gonna kill everyone by the end of the series? I mean, I don't have much hope left for any of these people. They are going out of their way to screw it all up. I dunno about Gaeta, seems too... I dunno. Obvious isn't the word for it. Just doesn't feel right. Was that a shot of Natalie or Caprica in a hospital bed in the previews? Previews again, has Tigh knocked up Caprica? BTW, I'm officially designating the 8's "Judas".

Well damn. So he is. This certainly dials up the intrigue.

CCCP codec, all you'll ever need for anime. I cant speak to the accuracy of the Lunar sub, I didn't care for their use of slang, and didn't bother past 1 episode.

While I'm at it, Harmonica has Zentradi ears and carries a harmonica. He's atleast partially Zentradi and at some point his family was from the UN colonies. Personally, I think Kawamori would totally be jumping the shark if we actually saw the Protoculture. Their mystery is far more important than their reality. Where would you go form there? Oh look, no we have the ultimate power in the galaxy, the beings that created all of us. He might as well have God show up. I don't imagine we'll see any Protoculture in this series. Hell, the Vajra could have been left behind to defend something that is no longer there, an automated defense system that was never turned off.

There are two other shots, which are fuzzy, which seem to show the NUNS logo as well. We won't really know for sure until we get a clearer picture. Even if we aren't 100% sure on the insignia, the fighter is designated "VF-27", and there isn't any precedent in Macross for the UN to designate enemy fighters using their own naming conventions. They didn't in Zero, and they didn't in 7, the two series where we saw enemy variable fighters.
