  1. So, ok, purple stone in Sheryl's earrings. Purple stone in Dick's ring. Purple stone at the core of the Vajra gunship.
  2. Except it has NUNS insignia on its wings.
  3. If I had any complaint, it would be with the Quarter. I prefer my space battleships to be standing off and launching volleys, not flying in like some super robot and firing a gun. But its a minor thing, doesn't affect my enjoyment of the show.
  4. I mean, dude, look at his hair. You can't be a good guy and have hair like that. WTF is up with his hair?
  5. Not sure you can call it a colony, they were a research fleet. What were they researching, and what are a bunch of the survivors doing on the Frontier? Harmonica is flying in what seems to be a NUNS fighter (the VF-27). There is something going on behind the scenes that I don't think they've given us a glimpse of yet.
  6. But we don't know that's all that remains. From what I saw, the NUNS scouts were setting up relay pods, they were not expecting those two ships to fold out on their location. Quarter and Co. did not go all the way to the Galaxy fleet, they went to were those two ships de-folded.
  7. Except she's stated that she's 1/4 (oooh, another 25 reference!) Zentradi, and Kawamori said she was in an interview.
  8. Not every episode is mecha action, ya know.
  9. "Old fugly man" is Dick Vilra, and I had been under the impression that he owned SMS, (or atleast controlled them in some sense), but that might not be the case. He clearly is a person of some importance in the Frontier fleet.
  10. Best I could do: The last shot is as clear as you can get, and that certainly looks like the NUNS insignia to me. The -27 is moving in this scene, and the design stays consistent. Lastly, the unknown insignia near the nose:
  11. Someone here started calling him that, its not official or anything. Its like "Richard Vilra" will always be "Dick Vilra" to me.
  12. Someone here said something about reverse engineering, which wouldn't be a surprise, I suppose. The VF-27 seems to be far more advanced than the -25. While we're not 100% on the NUNS markings on the VF-27 (well, I am ), Brera does have Zentradi ears, and he carries a harmonica (I like the Harmonica nickname, BTW, very Sergio Leone), so think one can safely assume there is some UN connection there.
  13. No one has mentioned this yet... they're not fighting where the Galaxy is. They are fighting where the two ships from the Galaxy fleet de-folded to (where the scouts had deployed a Relay Pod). Next episode looks like its back to life aboard the Frontier, but I am wondering WTF happened to the Galaxy and the rest of its fleet.
  14. Media Player Classic keeps giving me error messages when I try to grab these screens. You can see what may be the NUNS insignia just as it starts to fly infront of Michel (after the reflection in his helmet), and again just as the VF-27 transforms and flies away as the Quarter moves in for the kill. Its on the top of the wing. I could be wrong, and Kresphy could be wrong, but it looks like the NUNS insignia to me. It also has a new one toward the nose, wish I could grab a screenie of it.
  15. I am trying to get a decent screen shot, but when Michel sees the VF-27 flying in, it looks like the NUNS insignia on the top of the wing. You can also see it when it transforms and flies away when the Quarter pries open the Vajra ship.
  16. Looking at the scene again, frame by frame, if I had to put money on it I'd say its the NUNS insignia. It has the gap in the circle and the right over left overlap. Also, there is another insignia near the nose, not sure what it is.
  17. He's right, it does look like the new NUNS insignia. It might not be, though, and its just the angle we are seeing it at. But the way it looks in that screen shot, I'd says it has NUNS markings. Great pickup, Kresphy, good to see you back.
  18. I have the Shinsen-raws and TV-Japan 1280 x 720 releases (mp4 and avi), and neither of them have the brightness/contrast issues of the 704 x 396 release.
  19. If you've been posting, I haven't seen it. You guys have really been kicking ass since episode 4.
  20. You have to say wrinkle, 'cause fold makes me think she had something growing inside of her that "folded" away.
  21. Another thing that has me wondering, what was Dick Vilrer doing with his ring? Can't say he was just fidgeting, unless the director was trying to show us that hey, this guy wears jewelry made out of that mysterious purple stone, too (which is a possibility). Did he call in the VF-27's with his ring, or were they really just wanting us to see the purple stone? Questions, questions!
