  1. The final Cylon is not in the picture.
  2. But it was shown folding with other -27's at the end of episode 7.
  3. We had a thread about these guys a long, long way back.
  4. The Galaxy is a privately funded fleet. I think whoever first came up with the Aliens analogy is right, the Galaxy sees the Vajra and potential weapons technology (or actual, the -27 has an internal fold device and that, well, not sure what to call it... super dimension gun... just like the lobsters). Ma2ha3, I'm not being a smartass when I say this, I do believe you've missed something along the way. Whether it was an episode, or a part of a few episodes. Go back and re-watch them all, the Galaxy's involvement is clear.
  5. She's involved, but how still isn't clear. The voice that was "commanding" Brera on his mission was somewhat obscured and altered because of the transmission, it wouldn't surprise me if this was done to mislead us. Hard to say whose side she is on (though, with these UN fleets, its very "shades of gray"). There could be people on/from the Galaxy fleet who are secretly keeping tabs on things for President Glass. And we could also have people aboard the Frontier working for the corporate interests of the Galaxy. Political intrigue, its bound to be messy.
  6. You've either missed episodes, or you're missing content.
  7. Alto essentially does to Brera what Brera did to Klan in that battle.
  8. I'm sorry, I don't see it. You're totally dismissing the Galaxy's involvement in all of this. And your first two points are guesswork at best, with the second one being kind of ridiculous. The Galaxy is a corporately funded fleet, focusing on technological development beyond the boundaries of what seems to be legal in much of the UN. If I had to guess, I'd say the Galaxy fleet is trying to exploit Vajra technology for their own gain, monetary or otherwise.
  9. I have to say, I agree in a sense, there were a few things in this episode that were totally out of nowhere, and really didn't come off right, in my mind. But somehow, in the end, it all worked for me, and I can't wait until next week.
  10. Yeah, I don't quite get that. I am curious as to what your thinking is on the subject. The "triangle" in Macross hasn't only been a romantic one, we generally have three parties that are, in some sense, against each other, but in the end two of them unite to defeat the third. In Macross F, I see this as the Frontier, the Galaxy, and the Vajra. But this is only my opinion, how are you seeing this?
  11. The cat Romo has been seeing is a "head cat", like "head Six", "head Baltar", and "head Ellen". Hey, atleast they're consistent. The "final five" bit in the next episode is
  12. "Next episode" isn't what you think.
  13. The Galaxy is said to have launched several years before the Frontier, which I believe launched in 2046 or 2047. And we know the first attack by the Vajra occurred 19 years prior (2040). Even if you put the Galaxy launching around 2040, just how far could it have gotten and how much work could it have done to lead to these attacks on other fleets? Still, the launch date was left vague at the opening of episode 7, who is to say this wasn't on purpose? Or perhaps I've been watching too much Battlestar Galactica, and I am looking for secrets in everything...
  14. Speed subs definitely have a place, even if they aren't the most readable, and I'm very thankful for the effort Gattai and now GG put forth to get them out quickly. Of course, when all is said and done, I go with the more "full bodied" subs, like Shinsen and AiA-IZ. But each has their role to play.
  15. I am not a fan of Lunar's overuse of slang and contractions.
  16. The Vajra go back 19 years, which predates the Galaxy launching, I believe. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong about the Galaxy launch date.
  17. This game is getting an insane amount of good press, early reviews make it look like the game of the year.
  18. They did indeed drop the series.
  19. Its a little worse than Gattai as far as readability goes, and I don't appreciate the swearing.
