Er, no. Construction was halted during the Space War I, and it resumed in 2010, when the half completed vessel was redesigned into the Megaroad-01.

Who said there is still one on Earth? And it certainly looks as if it was brought back to active duty as a warship in the next episode preview.

You know, the Macross showing up here totally covers over the fact that this episode is pretty convoluted. I've watched it a few times now, and I still have no clue WTF was going on with those Zentradi.

Yeah, I'm back to fully believing that is the real deal.

Yes and no. The Galaxy is a corporately funded and run fleet. While they fly the NUNS flag, they seem to feel totally free to break any number of interstellar laws.

I'm betting they'll go the MOSPEADA route, just like they have been doing with everything else. Besides, you can actually sell a MOSPEADA movie in Japan.

Pretty much the same with me, as well. This last year has been a bit of an odd one for me, Gurren Lagann was the first new anime I had seen in a very long while, and the news of Macross Frontier has kinda kept me in it. I've been watching shows here and there since.

Let HG and WB try to make a Macross movie, and let Big West sue them. We'll finally get this nonsense straightened out once and for all.
