  1. That's just all sorts of bad. As in, that's the best they could come up with? Ugh.
  2. There is so much unexplained with this show. Saying the Vajra settled on a former PC world makes sense, but this is Macross frontier we are talking about, so who knows.
  3. Dude, its in the frigging animation. More than once, LOL. They've been part of the canon for over 2 decades.
  4. For the love of God, the Global isn't the SDF-4!
  5. Hmm, possible. Perhaps he knows they are supposedly "lost", and hopes it will help them find the Megaroad-01, eh?
  6. I suppose, that's kinda weaksauce, though. Plus, to be "connected" with her, wouldn't she need a Fold Quartz implant?
  7. It looked to me like the Gunship was knocked away when he Galaxy fired at the Frontier.
  8. I clearly know very little Japanese, but (on second viewing) it sure seemed like Ranka (aboard the Quarter) was explaining that it was the Vajra singing. Minmay's name doesn't seem to be mentioned at all, and Mari isn't listed in the credit sequence (atleast not that I saw, but the video was iffy).
  9. Its a mistranslation of... something. Basically, its referring to the grey aura that surrounds Sheryl's head when she collapses on the bridge stage.
  10. So, going by the dialog in episode 24, and what we saw in episode 25, it sounds as if Richard Bilrer was expecting to actually meet Lynn Minmay on this planet. "Soon... Soon I'll be able to meet you."
  11. Too bad we know next to nothing about him.
  12. Ranshe, Ranka, and Brera, with Dr Mao Nome in the background Miss Lynn Minmay, as seen in Dicky B's locket-ring
  13. Yes, my epeen is fully engorged and satisfied! Now be a good Misaforever and bring Misa back to us. This Klan business isn't working for me.
  14. Anyone else notice the Galaxy fleet (including the Galaxy colony ship) is totally unaccounted for?
  15. The original SDF Macross has something the other two series don't; we get to see the after effects of the climactic battle. Reconstruction is a large part of what makes the series classic. Its the most "adult" of the three.
  16. No, man, you're confusing Macross Minmay with Robotech Minmay.
  17. I was right that I was right!
  18. I would say most of it got blasted.
  19. Yes, a bigger, badder queen. LOL Anyone want to still insist on there being a king?
  20. Pffft, son, I posted this action up a day before you did.
  21. The animation was inconsistent, and on a few occasions quite poor. With a few exceptions (Sheryl, Alto, Ranka), the character designs were bland to horrible. The story comes off as very convoluted and unfocused. Its target audience was a bit younger than I would have liked. However, the mecha action was top notch and the music was solid. And as convoluted as the story was, for the most part, it kept your attention. Also, coming out of this series Sheryl is my second favorite Macross character. That chick's got the guts of Guld. In the end, the story is left unresolved. And I'm not talking about the "triangle". I guess we'll have to wait and see. If I had my choice, I'd give Frontier an incomplete, but for now I'll just give the TV series itself a 7.
