  1. At the very least, most of the people we spoke with at BioWare seem to be fans of Warhammer Online and enjoy the PVP format of that game. More good news.
  2. "If you roll a Jedi character and you play them from the first level to the last level, and then you roll a Sith and you play them from the first level to the last level, you will not see one repeated quest, line of dialogue, or piece of content. It is a 100% different story experience." Hopefully this will shut up some of the SWG whiners who we see posting on various TOR boards. Jedi and Sith force users ARE a starting class. One can only hope this pisses them off enough that they give up on TOR and go back to whining on the SWG forums.
  3. I am guessing you never spent much time in a game with end-game raiding. Or competitive PvP.
  4. No it doesn't. Kawamori has stated it more than once, he doesn't do the same thing twice. The Birdman is very much an Alpha and Omega. It can bring life, or bring death. It reacts to Sara's singing.
  5. I wouldn't count on it, and I don't imagine we'll see this game until 2010, when we may looking at the next generation of consoles.
  6. Why is it "5" instead of "V"?
  7. I wouldn't worry about it, Bioware is making a Bioware game, not a SEA game.
  8. 300 year old humans? I just don't know.
  9. 300 years after KotOR, Revan is long dead.
  10. Yes, and I've seen this several other places; alot of people going on about SWG. These games are related in name only.
  11. No, just stop there. These games are of no relation.
  12. Different game entirely.
  13. I find it unlikely.
  14. Not once have they said that, and I find it unlikely. As I said before, I've killed tens of thousands of players in WoW, and not one of them failed to rez and keep on playing.
  15. Video: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/starwarsthe...c/video/6199708
  16. "This game has more story content than every single other Bioware game put together."
  17. This is true.
  18. No reason why you can't. Really, you can do this with most MMO's.
  19. "hmm, he casually mentions smugglers, soldiers, criminals, possible classes, mayhap!"
  20. IGN is really where it is at right now, and they are going to have alot more tomorrow.
  21. "the team suggests that there's enough content in Star Wars: The Old Republic to call it "Knights of the Old Republic 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9." At first hearing, it's easy to suspect that's just marketing hype, particularly since it was delivered to us more than a couple of times by more than a couple of different people. Nevertheless, it seems to be entirely accurate to claim that, in the team's words, this is "the biggest and most ridiculous BioWare game ever made." "Twelve full-time writers have been working on the content for this game for years already." "NOT d20"
  22. "no content shared at all between classes"
  23. I wouldn't read too much into that. I've killed tens of thousands of players in WoW, and not one of them stayed dead.
  24. You can be a member of the Sith Empire but be "good". This is certainly interesting.
