  1. The Yamato YF-19 air inlets are fixed to a bigger piece behind/ontop of them. The Arcadia YF-19 has these pieces separate, and may have separated these pieces to give more poseability in battloid, and adding material to the top may kill that extra flexibility.
  2. IMO : The only things wrong with ST:III were, Savik being played by a different actress, and Chekov's terrible wardrobe. Other than those things, that movie is win. Stealing the enterprise scene is one of my favorite out all of Star Trek. The 2009 reboot was promising, but seemed off to me. The new one had it's moments, but overall I cannot recommend it. Here's a great review by Red Letter Media.
  3. yes. Captain completed it a few months back. I haven't seen one built yet though.
  4. I think I missed the last shipment. Last I heard there were problems with some of the sourced parts. Hoping I can still get the last shipment if I missed it. I'll PM Cap. Was thinking of commissioning someone to build mine. If anyone is interested, lmk. Edit: I meant build and paint. Wanted to clarify.
  5. News?
  6. Here's some posters... I know some say Robotech, still have awesome artwork.
  7. lol What's a good game these days? Anything coming out soon I should watch for?
  8. Wanted to give a recommendation for a game that slipped by everyone's radar... Armed Assault. Check this video out of some fighter action. Then this one of a huge battle...
  9. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SNAP! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TP347BvgqM&feature=endscreen Really? Anyone doubt this show now?
  10. I wonder if John Moscato's large scale mech will be on the front cover in the future...
  11. Cannot wait for this crap! Looks awesome design wise (character and mecha).
  12. What about Carl's suggestion a few posts back. The joints could be 3d printed??? Just don't give up Captain! We won't either. Been waiting for this for too long. Thanks.
  13. These things went for a fortune back in the day. I have not paid attention to prices on these in years. With the Yamato versions being available, it seems to me they would be worth less than a few years ago, but then again the Studio Half-Eyes are getting more rare. I would start at $200 for all 3, but that's just me, and that's a lot less than they went for say 5 years back. I would wait until you have more responses before making a decision. i could be way off. Good luck, I love these kits when finished well, but you hardly ever see them finished.
  14. Yes. Picked it up relatively cheap a few years ago. It's missing a wing.
  15. Sorry about the dust...
  16. edit : nvm
  17. Just wanted to show interest in Invid mecha as well at a later date, though at this scale, they might be pretty BIG.
  18. Down payment sent. This is gonna be so cool!
  19. What happened, did they ask for more money?
  20. The SOC Yamato has the same amount of panel lining as the Andromeda pictured above. Got mine the other day (Ami Ami). Kinda impressive, thought it would be bigger though. Didn't come with batteries for the remote, not sure about the ship itself, haven't really opened it up yet. Has some weight to it, but I hope it never gets knocked over. Wings just pop right onto and off of the ship, kinda slick.
  21. Can I sign up for 1? For some reason, this is my favorite mecha of all time. I just rechecked the (pardon the term) "gimmicks" you already had planned. Going to be amazing!
  22. Anyone interested in buying my used account? I'd sell for $40. Star Trek Online - Digital Deluxe Edition (Pre-Order) I enjoyed playing when it first came out, but I've been way too busy with work, and likely won't have any time for games for the foreseeable future.
  23. Level 9 still, add me... Char@Captain_Dick
  24. Did Cameron say he's doing sequels? I just saw an interview with him where he said he hadn't decided what's next, but there was no mention of Avatar sequels at all.
