  1. The models I have are mostly built by Jung from this board. I have 2 more that aren't pictured that I will add this weekend. All of the models are fragile. The ride armor models are especially so, lot's of pieces that come off with the slightest movement.
  2. It's supposed to be 1/55, but it is more like 1/48, which is cool, it goes well with the 1/48 Yamato's.
  3. I put up a ton of pics comparing the IMAI and MPC here towards the middle. I noticed I didn't have the MPC completely transfomed in some pics, or missing the clip, stuff like that. I love this toy! I was thinking that maybe the post 3,000 units have a little better quality control. The MPC is much much better to play with than the IMAI. Sounds obvious, but I'm happy that I can play around with an Alpha and pose it without worrying about hurting it. The sculpt looks really good to me too. http://www.mrtwo.net/mr2modproject/toys/mospeada/pics.htm The only thing that bugs me about the MPC is the rear landing gear. I may modify it to make it actually work.
  4. I'll take a better pic, it's nothing.
  5. After playing around with the MPC, I'm pretty impressed. It's definitely not a chunky monkey in terms of abusability. But I'm used to the IMAI models now, and the MPC seems like it's much more on the toy side than model side. I'll post some Armo Diver and fighter mode comparisons today in better lighting.
  6. So, looking at the pics I posted, the MPC is taller than the IMAI. Would you guys say the MPC is not 1/55, or the IMAI is not 1/48?
  7. What are those white things on the legs of the MPC? They look horrid, like glue marks or something. Missle hatches and attatchment points. I should take pics in better light

  11. I love my MPC so far, I have # 4,4XX something. Here are some Armo Soldier pics from left to right, MPC, Metallics Super Poseable, Jung Chao's customized IMAI 1/48 kit.

  13. Some newish pics... http://zip.4chan.org/m/src/1092884685856.gif http://zip.4chan.org/m/src/1092877559762.jpg http://zip.4chan.org/m/src/1092869272097.jpg
  14. That's what it looks like.
  15. Actually there is arm mechanics in the line art, and it was shown in at least one episode.
  16. If you haven't seen a second YF-19 box, then there probably isn't. I thought I had seen one somewhere, but I may have seen two of the black/white YF-21 boxes and assumed it was the YF-19. I can take a pic of my YF-21, it may take a few days though. I have to think about what I want to do with it.
  17. Isn't that 2nd picture, a picture of the instructions? I have the YF-21 with 1/100 on it, unassembled.
  18. Where do you live? Where did you get the cases? I really like the old setup. What you should use are cold cathode tubes. They last years, and run on 12v. http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/ccfltubes.html I use these on my arcade machine, and have sound activation units for them, they work great.
  19. Hey, that's better than removable legs, isn't it? Can anyone show me where on this toy the folded-up Cyclone goes? I would assume in the chest between the intakes. That's where it goes in the show.
  20. I've never seen any either. There are at least two different boxes for the SHE YF-19 and YF-21. One as pictured on the site, and one is a white box with minimal graphics.
  21. Cool macross pics today...
  22. Check daily... but don't click the other links unless you like being exposed to crazy hentai pictures. http://zip.4chan.org/m/imgboard.htm
  23. I actually like it better, and explained why. Just wanted to see what you'd say
  24. Nah, the sounds in EP4 dub are superior to the sub. Listen to that entire fight scene with the sound cranked up. Much more various and interesting IMO.
