Calm down Keith I'm not on all the time Anyways, my set didn't ahve any missing portions. People were saying it was missing portaions of two episodes, I checked those out, and I had it all. My set is by Anime Cartoon, and the missing portions are in MI's set. Well, anyone who's been into HKs for a while knows AC and MI are the same company, so i don't see how this is possible. But it's not the first time MI and AC releases have differed. And I know they redid Double Zeta's subs, but when did they redo Zetas? My MI set has awesome subtitles for the majority of the series, so maybe I'm jsut to new to the HK scene to have seen bad Zeta sets.

This is my first time seeing it, LoneWolf. But definetly a nice screen shot. Qulity and content wise

OK thanks i was a bit confused, because Roy was test flying the VF-1X, and he was scared of flying it, and I was thinking the VF-0 was flown before that and what not and was confused. This clears it up. Thanks again

What are your favorite Import games for PS2
Vinny replied to jwinges's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I just bought a Japanese PS2 way back because I wanted to import the Gundam games so I can hear the original voices. I didn't really get any other games as there weren't many there that I couldn't eventually get here, so I can't really help ya. -
<-------------- I like Cardfighters Clash, also

I just watched the episode "Rainy Night." I was wondering where that episode fits in relative to Macross Zero. Does it come before or after Zero? Thanks!

I played console ports of the two 64 Samurai Spirits games, and I've played teh console and arcade versions of the 64 Fatal Fury game. There not bad fighting games. They pretty much play like a typical 3-d fighting game, I guess. I don't really like 3-d fighting games, so I didn't give them much thought. Though the Samurai Spirits games were pretty nice. Lot's of new characters to chose from.

Yes, SEED MS will most likely be in Encounters in Space. The American version of Encouters will have all MS open in the beginning. With the Japanese version, you have to download them. SO far, the only ones up for download are Wing Zero Custom, Tallgeese III, Shaku (a Zaku with hearts. Don't ask), God Gundam, and Master Gundam. Problem is, I don't hve a fricking hardrive to save them to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You NEED the harddrive to paly as them, as they are not already in the game. They are saved to the hard drive, and used form there in the game The American version is supposedly going to ahve them open from the start, which gives me a reason t rent it. I'll jsut ahve to mute it, because dubbed Gundam makes me cry

Griffon Mask is from Mark of the Wolves, a Fatal Fury game that takes place a pit in the future (2009? I haven't played it in a while). He's plays like a Capcom grappler, with the 360s and such. Terry is pretty old int he game, but still getting around. That's his look from MotW in 03 now. Anyways, what's up with this art? There mixing Nona with Falcoon now? I'm not a fan of Nona, and have been following Falcoon for a few years now via his website (where most of the KoF pictures come from. He's not doing anymore free art anymore though ) so I hope they let him do all the character sketches. His art's like that of FLCL. Big lips And the ebst part is, to follow Mark of the Wolve's story, the Fatal Fury team will have to win King of Fighters somewheres down the line, as Griffon Mask's background in MotW was that he was the KoF champion one year. I think it was 2007?

You mean SNK fans I've been playing SNK games (and fighting games in general) since a pizza place I used to go to asa kid had Fatal Fury 2. I remember telling all my friends it made Street Fighter 2 look stupid Ah, the memories. I haven't played Samurai Spirits Zero yet, but I've definetly delved in to SNK vs Capcom. I only played it alittle bit, but the SNK side is basically like the Capcom side was in Capcom vs SNK. Mainly, reused sprites with basically the same moves. The Capcom roster is pretty nice though. Definetly alot more varied then the basic Street Fighter vs KoF that was Capcom vs SNK. I haven't been following the tiers or anything so i can't really say who is the best. I'm looking forward to the PS2 version But speaking of the Neo Geo, I had one up until a year ago when it just finally gave up on me It was a four slot one I bought from a local arcade that was going out of business for 200 bucks. That was a few years ago (I know I had it pre-KOF 99). It finally got to costly to repair the thing. Most of the parts on the player one's side were taken from player two so I could at least play some one player games. I finally just slapped a ad in the newspaper for it, someone picked it up saying they could find it a new home, and I've been Neo Geo-less ever since. I have no intentions of buying a new one though, as FINALLY SNK is going to better software

I doubt MI went and changed all the subs. Most likely having the "New English Subs" part is to try and trick clueless Gundam fans into thinking it's an official set. I plan on picking this up eventually, but I'm thinking of waiting for a better packaging from another company If the subs are like the individual DVDs, they seem to be slightly above the quality of the 0079 set, which I thought were decent. GAODA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep seeing on Ebay though these 8 disc DVD sets that supposedly have perfect subtitles. But no one ever posts pictures, so I'm a bit weary on buying it.

I can't wait to see the scene that the middle picture on the second page of the screen shots is from. Nothing beats watching empty brass start flying out, especially from a large gatling gun I can't wait to see the third episode

Well, I guess I'm lucky that the fire has left my city. Every hill I look on surrounding Simi is just black. I just thank God it missed my house. School is closed tomorrow also. It's really bad. I just hope it doesn't come back here, but there doesn't seem to be anything left to burn in the hills here in Simi. Good luck again to everyone who are affected by this. I hope you experience the same luck I had with this.

The governator isn't doing anything. He's not in office yet. Davis is still in charge. Some of my friends who went to the evacuation center at San Bernadino Airport saw his speech. I'm glad the electricity hasn't gone out again recently. I haven't been home all weekend, so this is just what my mom told me, and it sounded pretty bad. Though I was a few cities down (Agora Hills) and the air was still pretty bad down there. But so far none of my friends or family have gotten hurt so I am some what happy. I'm also glad the fires moving away from my house. I think it missed the Ronald Reagan library too, luckily. I love that place . AND NO SCHOOL!!!! College is closed, as the fire was damn near close to it, and school or not, I don't care, because I love my classes . Good luck to everyone else affected by the fire.

I'm in Simi Valley here. The house behind me were evacuated but we weren't. A big road seperates us from them so it should be OK. But there was so much ash it was almost like it was snowing. It's on the other side of the city now, so I'm hoping everything will be OK. I know there are alot of other people in California here, so how are you handling it?

What's everyone going to be for Halloween? Closes thing I got of a picture of me is my avatar (Card Clash sprite of me) and another sprite of me, which I'll upload. It's relitively old. Yeah, I used to wear a big hunking chain for a belt (Ryoma style), but circumstantes (I caught tuberclerosis after a wild night. I won't get into details on this forum as it's very personal) made me re-evaluate my life and slow things down a bit. I still don't want to live forever, but I want to live till at least fifty!!

I probably won't pick this up, as for one, I only watch HK anime, and if I was going to pick up an R1 DVD, be a cold chance in Hell is would be an ADV one. But, also, there's something about the show that's always kept me away from it. i don't know what though. I've seen a few episodes of it Robotech style, and I just completely hated the show. Maybe one day I'll check it out, but as of now, I have no interest in SC. Now Mospeada is another story.

Just picked up Macross Zero HK Boot DVDs...
Vinny replied to Draykov's topic in Movies and TV Series
Macross Fanboy, I bestow upon thee the bible when it comes to HK DVDs: www.import-anime.com Click reviews on the right, look up Macross 7, and your answers will be found I notice alot of people here go there too. The nice part is reviews are written by anyone, so you can write your own if you buy the set Anyways, I don't download anime often. Hardly at all. I downloaded Macross Zero episodes one and two, and that's pretty much it. I'm downloaded a few episodes of Gaogaigar also, because I don't ahve enough money to buy the HK set of it yet. Anyways, I buy the HK DVDs of shows I can DL because I like to have a hard copy. Something I can still have if my computer goes nutso, something I can take elsewhere, something I can watch on a bigger screen, etc. -

I'm going to wait for the hole series to be released and then pick up a gatefold of the set. Well, I hope it's a gatefold. I hope they don't attempt to stick all five episodes on one disc, but you never know... -
I'm pretty mad I blew all my money of Encounters in Space. That game was fun for a few weeks. I want Macross action! Oh well, Christmas is coming up My Japanese PS2 is definitely lacking in titles. Titans vs AEUG, Macross, it's going to be a great Christmas
-
Well, when Macross didn't have mecha fights or other action going on, it was still gripping with it's romantic story. Gasaraki didn't grip me. If you like some blind Japanese dude talking about the prices of wheat, then by all means, pick this up

Awesome site. Finally some full colored pictures of the Getter Robo G SOCs. Looking nice, though I don't like how the white parts are silver. Probably be a "training" recolor version of them down the line, and this is Bandai we're talking about . Jeeg will probably be next in line for SOCing, since he seems to be the only classic Go Nagai main robot missing. Though I wouldn't mind seeing other classic SRs getting the SOC treatment. But I don't know how far Bandai's licensing goes for the whole thing.

Gasaraki is like watching CNN with mechs thrown in for the Hell of it. A real snore fest with a bit of a confusing story. If you're looking for a good mecha series, stray clear of this one. The only reason I bought it was because the HK set of it included a soundtrack and the opening theme is so nice ;
