I got my MIB MR ESB Vader yesterday...I'm not that pleased with it. There is a dark spot in the middle, presumably a dead LED and the blade is pink/orange in anything but sheer darkness. The clash effect is also insanely hard to trigger, I have to hit it so hard I'm wary of damaging the blade. The sound effects are also delayed to my motion. I'm considering selling it to pay a speeding ticket.

Why does that missile have a special vernier for it?

I'm always amazed that he was shot 6 times. I've never noticed that he hid the missing finger that was shot off. What did he do all the time after TOS? I find it hard to believe a 2nd tier character being typecast especially such a good character actor.

Yeah, even in Terminator 2 (the extended version at least), when T-1000 is in the molten steel factory, at one point, his feet slightly melt into the metal grating he's walking on and that's how John Connor knows he's not really his mom. You'd think that their shoes would melt in Episode III. I really wish something more realistic would have happened, like Anakin actually raped Padme because she totally broke his heart and made him go insane, believing that Obi-Wan was having an affair with her or something... A real reason for somebody to go mad with rage and anger and pain. Then he fought Obi-Wan and fell into the lava out of his own pride and unrealistic belief in his abilities...and Obi-Wan couldn't reach him or end his suffering. THEN the Emperor rescues him, turns him into Vader...and Vader summarily slaughters all the Jedi he can find out of REAL betrayal...not some stupid order 66 directed to Clones who can't shoot straight and who's combined firepower is (as the script noted) less than all the droids in Ep II.

yeah an Obi-Wan FX has to be fat, in fact, the blade and the blade electronics actually go into the hilt about halfway right to the battery pack.

Wow, that really sums up everything wrong with that movie for me and for that matter, the entire prequel trilogy...after which I must sadly conclude that The Phantom Menace was actually the superior film because it made-sense and actually featured some okay dialogue delivery. I still can't get over how disappointing Ep III was, if I can help it, I'm never watching the prequels again. They ended up as nothing but superfluous scene after pompous scene after superfluous just to show off CG and character cameos to collectively shrink the Star Wars universe, rape our childhoods, and garner record box office reciepts for bad acting. Lucas just lost all skill as a storyteller somewhere along the way. Whatever happened to his dreams of a grand narrative? Of a new myth for the ages? To the clever blending of history and culture within the format of a classic 1930s serial adventure? At least it makes for great writing like this script.

Man, this movie has nothing to do with the rest. It's an entirely separate storyline that's trying very hard to differentiate itself from them. And this movie's primary concern was realism, putting Batman in the real world. It has nothing to do with time. The others simply existed in stylized fantasy universes, even the 60s Batman.

Alright, I'm probably only ever going to own one of these babies, so which do you guys think is the best? I personally prefer the Vader hilt, what is the difference between the various episode Vader hilts as far as the Master Replica FX's? I heard the Anakin saber has more sounds than the Vader one? Should I wait for the Episode V Vader?

I'm still not happy with how they just axed Trauma Studios, the guys who developed DC, after they bought them. It's like they bought the competition, took their models, and the intellectual property rights, then kicked them off the ship.

Fun movie with great jokes and humour but very anticlimatic in the end. I mean, there's no distinct enemy, no real victory. Just somehow taking out masses of people wearing body armor with 9mm calibur glocks? Right. They c9uld make a sequel where they are fugitives or something...but they seem to be living in the same city at least and settled back into a suburban lifestyle. Maybe I was hoping for more a Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid thing lol. Batman is the only film I wanted to see all year, my friends dragged me to Kingdom of Heaven (what a travesty and perversion of history not to mention a bad film), RoTS (man, episode I was better than this, I refuse to believe the prequels even happened after this one was worse than the previous two), and now Mr. and Mrs. Smith (which was good afterall). The problem is I had to piss in the middel of it and I missed the part where he was outside her office and couldn't take the shot and I also don't know why he went to the construction building with the elevator. But Batman is a must-see, especially since it was filmed in IMAX and seeing it at the IMAX will be incredible when it costs just about the same as normal theatres. Plus Christian Bale rocks! "I have to return some videotapes"

What happened to Raijin Comics? http://www.raijincomics.com/ Their website looks like it was bought out by one of those domain entities so they nolonger exist. I was so happy to finally be buying City Hunter and Fist of the Blue Sky in english manga format and now it looks like they're bankrupt for the past year? Damnit! Their parent company, Gutsoon Entertainment http://www.gutsoon.com/ has basically shut down web operations too with blank fields and saying that they are now concentrating on live action instead??? ARRRGH!!! I want my City Hunter and Fist of the Blue Sky, they only got out like 5 books each. Did they shut down because their magazine wasn't making any money? They had a pretty poor choice of titles/liscenses if they were trying a Shonen Jump Style magazine, it doesn't work here, they should have just sold traditional manga volumes. Now what am I going to do for City Hunter and Fist of the Blue Sky? (They also did a cool Fist of the North Star colored version). These titles are probably never going to be released in English again as they don't seem popular enough for the scanlators even and they won't touch them because Gutsoon still holds the liscenses.

How about this? Rosario Love Note: Prior to Daedelus attacking, the three protective barrier discs were used as a shield on the front of the Daedelus. The discs prevented any damaage to occur to the ship (arm, whatever) of the SDF-1 as it puched through the enemy vessel. Once the Daedelus had maximum reach, the discs were (either: set elsewhere) or removed to allow the D to open and have the destroids unleash their firepower within the enemy vessel. I think it's really amazing to see something like this, so much history flying together. Are there any other images like this? It'd be awesome to see every generation of major US jet aircraft all together. Seeing the A-10 in there also reminds me of how much cooler and appropriate it would have been to have them fighting WWII era craft instead of F-14s in The Final Countdown.

Oh I forgot, same director. Again, what stupid design, full clear visors for helmets? What happens if the sun comes out? A sunken canopy? How do they check their six?
